About this space
This is the beloved lemon tree room (our other listing with more than 280 reviews) plus the part where we normally live, including kitchen, dining and another room (that can be used as a living or sleeping room). The building is a typical Berliner Altbau with high ceilings. The first bedroom has a king size bed and a sofa bed. The second bedroom has a sofa bed. The kitchen is fully equipped and it is open to the very spacious dining room.
The neighbourhood is very central but the area is quiet.
The space
Spacious, central and fully furnished apartment with 3 meter high ceilings, arranged in cozy and careful way. The first bedroom is very bright and features a KING SIZE BED (180x200cm) with a memory foam mattress. There is also a sofa bed in the same room (140x200cm).
The second bedroom is also very bright and big, with beautiful windows. It has a TV and a very comfortable sofa bed (140x200cm). It can also be used as a living room if you prefer.
The kitchen is modern and fully equipped. Induction stove, oven, mixers, etc. It is open to the very spacious dining room.
We offer 100% cotton linens, memory foam pillow (or other types if you wish) and fluffy duvets to provide a good night of sleep. Also two big fans that will cool you off if you happen to be here on a hot summer day.

Other things to note
Please note that there are two doors in the kitchen/dining room that will remain locked during your stay. One is our bedroom and the other is the room where we keep all the material for the other guests.
We do our best to be as flexible as possible but it depends on the schedule of the cleaning lady (since we can only rent the whole place when we are not there, we have to hire a person to clean). So if you arrive before the check in time (4 pm) or if want to check out later than 10am, just send us a message and we’ll let you know if it’s possible.
Free parking on the street is available 200m away from the building. Right in front of the building it’s also possible, but it’s not free. So if you are coming by car please let us know so we can tell you where you can park for free.
Smoking is NOT allowed in our house and will not be tolerated, not even on the window. If you are a smoker you will have to go out of the building to smoke.
We do not wear shoes in the house and ask our guests to do the same, especially in the bathroom. We have slippers for those who want them.
None of the rooms have curtains that block the light completely, so if this is an issue please bring eye masks.
If you stay at our place for a week or more I will probably ask you to water the plants.
Unfortunately we are obliged by law (like every hotel, hostel or legal) to collect from the guests a city tax in the amount of 5% of the net room rate (excluding cleaning and fees). It has to be paid to us on the check in. If you are traveling for work, you don’t have to pay, but you will need to fill up a small form.
Like in most buildings in Germany our heating is off during the night - between 11pm and 7 am. It’s something we can’t control, it’s controlled by the building.
