This is a maisonette apartment with two floors. To the bathrooms you will go down a spiral staircase, the bed is a bunkbed with stairs as well. So we recommend this place to the young and fit. To those, who do not enjoy using stairs in their accommodation, we recommend checking out our other awesome 1-floor apartments!

Housed in the most central district of Berlin (Mitte), Guesthouse Moabit’s apartments are in a quiet street within a lively central neighbourhood that is well connected to the local sights. The nearest subway station, Turmstraße, can be reached in about 5 minutes on foot, the metro station Beusselstrasse is just 10 minutes by foot or a 3 minute bus trip away; and many buses to get around the city are accessible in under 3 minutes. A direct bus to the central train station allows a comfortable commute to BER airport by train.

Our apartments are bright, cosy, and seek to create a homelike atmosphere. They are all equipped with either a kitchen or a smaller kitchenette that includes hobs, a minifridge, and an electric kettle along with basic cooking implements. All rooms have en suite bathrooms. WiFi connectivity is available in all areas and street parking is possible in the surrounding blocks.

The beautiful river Spree is just around the corner and the nearby streets are dotted with numerous cafés, eateries, and bars. Berlin’s large Tiergarten park is a very short bus ride away and the well-known shopping avenue, Ku’damm, is 3 subway stops from Turmstraße.

Good place to spend some nights
I reserved this place because it’s quiet central and not too pricey. It has a cute way of being set up, with the mezanine on top and the bathroom “downstairs”. I slept very well, cosy.

The place had everything as described and was just right for our needs. Attentive host, easy check-in and check out. Cleanliness was excelent. As other reviews already mentioned, the stairs were a bit narrow and you have to slowly climb them and be extra attentive.

Gregor was super helpful and punctual, we weren’t used to the German door and he came back after we couldn’t figure it out. Amazing location, everything you could need for your stay and honestly just such a cute space. This stayz definitely made my trip go smooth and reliable

Cute place, not suitable for older People
Nice place, there is a very small staircase which is not suitable for elderly people. + Very nice neighborhood + 5 minutes to the supermarket + Many restaurants and kebab shops - The floor in the bathroom was broken, tiles were loose and broken with holes underneath and there was a bit of mould.

Der Kontakt zur Vermietung war sehr gut. Das Fenster in der Küche konnte nicht geschlossen werden aber am nächsten Tag kam direkt jemand und hat sich drum gekümmert. Der Herd war kaputt aber es wurde eine mobile Induktions-Heizplatte zur Vergügung gestellt

Wohnung ok
Check in super einfach und freundlich, auch die Kommunikation vorher war toll. Die Wohnung selbst ist toll gelegen. Aber: Schimmel in den Badfugen, die Fliesen im Bad sind gebrochen und nur mit Gaffatape zusammengeklebt, viele Löcher zeugen von ehemals angehängten Möbeln oder Haken (man kann im Bad kein Handtuch hinhängen), was alles etwas lieblos wirken lässt. Die engen Treppen waren angekündigt und sind auch wirklich sehr speziell. Fazit: Preis für die Lage super, für den Zustand der Wohnung fragwürdig.

Nous avons réservé un logement à Berlin pour une semaine, mais notre expérience a été décevante. L'annonce, qui présentait une maisonnette, est en réalité un petit appartement sur deux étages, situé à plus de 5 km du centre-ville dans un quartier peu sécurisé. La salle de bain est en mauvais état : moisissures, abattant de WC non fixé, carrelage cassé et réparé avec du scotch. Les murs sont troués, sans supports pour serviettes, et il n'y a aucun endroit pour poser ses affaires. L'appartement était sale, avec une odeur de tabac froid persistante, et la propreté générale laissait à désirer. L'escalier, étroit et dangereux, avait une rambarde mal fixée. L'équipement était minimal : pas de balai, vaisselle sale, cuisine à peine fonctionnelle. La fenêtre ne fermait pas, et les rideaux n'étaient pas occultants. Les draps étaient propres, mais les oreillers et couettes, sales et usés, étaient en mauvais état. L'isolation phonique était quasi inexistante, rendant le bruit constant et le sommeil difficile. En somme, cet appartement a sérieusement terni notre séjour à Berlin. Nous déconseillons fortement de le louer.

Mein Aufenthalt war sehr gut. Die Gastgeber sind freundlichen und hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung liegt sehr ruhig und ist gut zu erreichen. Für einen Städtetrip für zwei Personen gut geeignet. Nur die Treppen in der Wohnung sind etwas steil und gewöhnungsbedürftig.

I gestori sono stati gentilissimi e molto disponibili a venirci incontro per ogni richiesta. Ad esempio ci hanno fatto trovare un phon che mancava. Sono stati molto responsivi. Comodi check in e check out in autonomia. La struttura era un po' datata e purtroppo c'erano alcuni difetti come le piastrelle del bagno rotte e le finestre ed il piano cottura mal funzionanti. L'appartamento è piccolo e non adatto a tutti ma adattandosi fornisce tutto quello che serve.

I couldn’t have asked for more.
This property is cozy, clean, safe and quiet. I was incredibly pleased with my stay and intend to return on my next holiday! Amazing value!
I stayed for a month in the summer. Check-in was seamless and Gregor was very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The maisonette was very cozy and well-equipped. In my room, one of the light bulbs did not work and the stove ended up not working. The place was not super clean, but everything can be perfect with some effort in sweeping and wiping. Otherwise, it had been an excellent stay and Gregor had been extremely communicative and accommodating. The location is very good as well with many bus stations, supermarkets, and eateries just around the corner.

Great place in center of Moabit
We really loved the stay in Gregor’s place. The apartment is clean, spacious (looks bigger than on photos!) and next to many restaurants! We spent one week there and couldn’t be more happy! Thank you Gregor for everything. Ps. Please watch out for the bathroom there are little steep stairs to climb to it ;)

Tolle kleine Wohnung
Die Wohnung liegt im schönen Moabit, der Bus hält nicht weit entfernt. Ein Fahrradverleih ist auch um die Ecke. Das Haus hat keinen Aufzug, man muss viele Treppen steigen. Die Wohnung selbst ist in zwei Etagen aufgeteilt, Bad in der oberen Etage, Wohnbereich in der unteren, Schlafmöglichkeit in einer Zwischen-Ebene. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, für Menschen mit Gehbeschwerden ist die Wohnung allerdings nichts! Wir würden sie weiterempfehlen.
