slightly disappointing
One major disappointment is that new towels are supplied every day. We were not informed to pick up new ones every day at the time of registration. It will be better if they provide us with new towels and take used ones every day, as is usually done in hotels. Others are OK including kitchen facilities, easy access to the public transportation, and safety.

Great place and location.
We were a family of five and this place was great. It was close to the train stations and bus stations. It was a nice big place with a fully equipped kitchen. Beds were nice and comfortable. Staff was very helpful. We had a great stay.

We had a great stay at Apartments Zehdenicker Strasse. The rooms were very cosy, the area was perfect for us as we were looking for somewhere that was a bit quirky! We were upgraded to a bigger apartment, as it hadn't been booked which was very nice of the owners! Overall, a great stay and would definitely recommend staying for anyone looking for a trip to Berlin.

Excellent apartment in traditional street
Arrived late due to delayed flight. Check in staff could not have been more helpful. He cycled the short distance from the office to the property to let us in, and was happy to help us orientate ourselves in the city. Lots of friendly local travel advice as we checked in. Perfect accommodation, with some fresh coffee and a coffee machine. Good location for travel into the main tourist areas. Choice of restaurants nearby. Louisiana Kid near Rosa Luxembourg Station was cheap, with great food and friendly staff.

Great Value, Excellent Location
My family of 5 spent 4 days at OTC and had a marvelous time. We were central to the key attractions in Berlin. The subway and bus stops are very close and provide excellent access to the best of Berlin. We very much enjoyed our stay at OTC and would recommend.

4th floor apartment, clean, tidy & spacious
The apartment is well located close to Alexander Platz. The area is residential, however other side of street is currently construction site and noisy from early morning. On a more positive note the apartment is also close to variety of stylish bars and cafes and we made the most of this! Finally, there are 84 steps to apartment door and no lift! You'll need to be fit!

Thank you so much to Manuel and the OTA staff for being so understanding and helpful in sorting out our apartments. The apartments were clean, with lots of light and in a great location. Myself and the girls I stayed with were very pleased. I would definitely recommend.

Nice place with quiet courtyard
The apartment was 3rd floor (no lift) in a residential building. It was a nice apartment with full kitchen, though the beds weren't very comfortable. The kids enjoyed sitting and playing in the green space of the off-street courtyard while we waited for the attendant to bike over for check-in. The apartment is not real close to the wall, brandenburg gate, or checkpoint charlie. The recommendation was to take the subway, please heed this! We drove and it was a nightmare, there was absolutely no place to park. There is graffiti everywhere city wide, this neighborhood was no different.

Great Apartment for Large Group in Berlin
I reserved this room for five of my students studying abroad with me in Berlin so the price was not bad at all. I love the Old Town Apartments company as a whole. I also had students stay at their Greifswalder Straße and Metzer Straße properties. No complaints. Look just like the pictures. Close to public transportation, grocery store, and pharmacy. Lots to eat in the neighborhood. Also quiet with lots of family/children. The staff is nice, accommodating, and patient over email and phone before we arrived and during the stay. They have experience with student groups, so that was helpful for me. Kitchens are lovely. Bathrooms nice. Beds comfortable. No complaints from students. If you run out of toilet paper or paper towels, the staff is accommodating and the worst case scenario is that you go to the grocery store. Cleaning staff thorough and friendly, will arrange cleanings (if you ask) so not to disturb your sleep/rest. No lift. Very nice courtyard.

Beyond criticism
Staff couldn't do enough to help, Expedia did not point out that the key must be collected from the OTA office a couple of streets away, the room was spotless and if you fiddle with the TV you can get BBC news. Two supermarkets nearby and the REWE is the best. Great location, the transport is very good but walking is the best option, like London really. Thank you to all the staff at OTA for thier help after KLM delayed our baggage, you were very kind. PS don't forget the teabags

Great apartment lots of stairs
This apartment was lovely and spacious. Our only complaints were that we couldn't quite get warm enough and 5 flights of stairs is a lot with a toddler and large suitcases. But the location is nice with a lot within walking distance.

OTA Appartments Berlin close to Schonehauser Allee
Stayed here for my 50th birthday and had a fantastic time in Berlin, a truly amazing city.Great room in excellent location for exploring Berlin. Accoomodation was well maintained and very clean on arrival. Plenty of kitchen equipment and spacious. Staff were very pleasant and very helpful. The only discomfort was that there was no air con so it got quite stifling as we stayed in August @ 28-33 degree temperatures.However a lackof air con seems to be common in Berlin as the majority of shops and bars were similarly toasty inside. Overall good clean and well located Appartment which we'd be happy to return to. We were a family of 5 with 3 adult children and found it well suited to our needs. More elderly guests may find the stairs difficult.

OTA Smetana apartment
We were 2 adults and our 12 year old grandson staying for 4 nights. The apartment was in a traditional Berlin apartment block and had been renovated in modern style. We had plenty of space and, apart from the beds being rather on the firm side, we found it very comfortable. The weather was bitterly cold but the apartment was well heated. The apartment and the kitchen were well equipped. It was well placed on the edge of the city centre - bus/underground/trams ran nearby but also within walking distance of Alexanderplatz, a main transport hub. A Berlin Welcome ticket meant we could easily combine walking and public transport (and get reductions on museum entrances). A baker and supermarkets were conveniently close. The staff at the reception office were very helpful and spoke English. We would certainly look to use OTA again if we return to Berlin.
