"Very great communication with hosts prior to stay, cute and quaint little cabin chalet just as described. Fully supplied kitchen made for meal prep pretty easy. Bring groceries bc the area has limited options nearby. We knew this ahead of time and probably saved us time and money. "

"The primary reason for the stay was normally could see at Seven Springs, about a 12 minute drive away. Given the warm weather, we were also able to enjoy the property. We had bonfires each night, several trips to the pond (a must see) and we even walked to the winery next door. The location, check in and facilities were just as described. "We stayed at this lovely chalet style townhouse to visit family over Christmas. We appreciated the cleanliness and the warmth of the house during some cold winter nights. Our two pups loved it, too. The owner quickly helped us trouble-shoot an issue with the lock and was very responsive. Just a note that the internal stairs are a bit steep for those who may have trouble managing them - but there is both a sleeping room and bathroom on ground floor. The house is beautiful and spacious; great common rooms, especially the gameroom/basement/bar area! Jen, the host, is very communicative and kind. "It truly is a cozy cabin among the trees. I needed an escape from life's daily intrusions and interruptions and this place did not disappoint. Definitely need 4WD or all wheel drive to get up the driveway in the winter months. Already scheduled my next stay. Bring a book!!"

"We were visiting Somerset for the annual fire and ice festival. The property is only a 15 minute walk from the uptown business district, however not many people clear snow from the sidewalks, including the hotel, so walking was a bit complicated. However, it's January in the laurel Highlands so it's expected to walk in snow. Staff was extremely welcoming,kind, and helpful. The parking lot and entrance could have a little better snow and ice removal. Excellent dining within walking distance. Located directly at the turnpike interchange and a great value for the cost. "
