"Beautiful property with wonderful HostsErwin and Kim. The cottage was perfect with scenic views of wildlife and the countryside. We rented one of the electric boats for a day of canal exploring and a ride to town. Road the E-bikes around the countryside and to town. ALL their restaurant recommendations were excellent. Definitely would recommend this property for a quiet weekend or for families with children."

"Marjan & Dino are friendly and accessible hosts. We were welcomed at the property on our arrival. The apartment is situated on the bottom floor of an old canal house in a historic street. It is close to the HS train station, the tram stop and the bus stop. It is easy to walk to central Den Haag with all it has to offer. The public transport makes it easy to explore the surrounding area and even the beaches."

The cottage is small but that suited us, and the view across the fields filled with all kind of wildlife was superb (not forgetting the chickens next to us and the three walking ducks!). And the huge windmill next to the canal is something to behold. Hans, the host, was really welcoming and helpful and if you want to lean more about the windmill then Google 'Vrouwgeest windmill' and learn how it has been in his family since 1797. "We stayed 10 days at this place at the end of a six week tour of Europe. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. However, compared to other properties we have stayed at over the years this one was quite pricey for what was offered."

"The place was great and clean. The stairs to the bedrooms were very steep. Location was great, amenities were great. The one annoyance was the night time critter bites. Looked high and low for anything but the itchy bites were undenyable. Very itchy "

"From the booking process throughout our stay Kim was wonderful and very quick to respond to any questions. The home was beautiful, clean, quiet, and spacious. The only small complaint we had about our stay, and this had nothing to do with the home, is that all but two restaurants in town require reservations. Made it slightly difficult to find a meal after returning from our daily activities at unscheduled times. Again, not on the host, more a comment about the area in general!"

"The apartment was spotless with everything you needed to be home away from home. It was very unique and comfortable. it was very spacious and overlooked the farming area so peaceful and relaxing. The bed and bed linen were of quality which make for a perfect nights sleep. Parking was available right outside the door which was appreciated. If travelling with more than 2 people there is a second toilet and wash basin upstairs next to the second bedroom, where the wash machine is also located....
