The house was perfect!! Stocked really nicely, clean, beautiful, private, and overall amazing Check was super easy, location was so beautiful and convenient to town We spent the majority of the time drinking coffee or wine on the front porch totally relaxed Owners checked on us to make sure all was well and were super hospitable Overall an amazing stay !

Berkeley Springs Great Cabin Getaway
Luxurious accommodations with mountain views & fabulous great room with fireplace! The owners were attentive to our every need, and the house is beautifully decorated with lots of room to spread out. With Berkely Springs just minutes away, this made for a memorable and enjoyable getaway, we would definitely do it again!

3 days of peace and quiet
A secluded forested area in the midst of hills, mountains, meadows with a meandering stream and no vehicle noise yet easily accessible from the town of Berkeley Springs, WV. The main cabin has everything you need for a getaway trip. The property owners are personable, accommodating but not intrusive.

Perfect Home Away From Home
We visited this wonderful hidden gem in December of 2021 and made it our home base for visiting relatives in WV and VA. With four children in the teen to preteen ages, my husband and I prefer staying in places where we can spread out and relax. This cabin was perfect! Our girls took over the loft bedrooms with their own bathroom, while our son got his own room (with a bathroom just across the hallway) on the main floor. Of course, my husband and I took over the master suite. Now for the really important parts of the review...the cleanliness of this cabin was superb. I've stayed in several VRBO homes and, and this one beats every one. The amenities were also very high level. Two separate heating/cooling zones make it easy to find comfortable temperatures. Plenty of hot water was available for multiple consecutive showers (this is critical with kids). The kitchen was well-stocked with cookware, utensils, and even an array of spices. All appliances were recent models. The kids enjoyed the puzzles and games provided as well. Having only one television in the living room area was not a problem, as we were in the area to spend time with family anyway. The same could be said for lack of Wi-Fi within the house....didn't miss it. We had decent cellular signal on the front porch to handle the handful of phone calls that we needed to make or texts that needed to be sent/received. We warned our families that we would be a bit "unplugged". The propane grill was appreciated for cooking steaks for dinner one night. We had the honor of breaking in the new fire ring as well with some s'mores. It was a very peaceful, quiet location. It just so happened that we didn't have any "neighbors" booking the little cottage or the carriage house nearby. The only company we saw were the acrobatic squirrels. Bill & Patricia stopped by once they saw we had arrived, and they let us know that they were available should we need them. Their home is within viewing distance up on a hill, but not close enough to feel any lack of privacy whatsoever. I would definitely not hesitate to stay at this wonderful cabin again.

Perfect Stay
We love the Berkeley Springs area and this location was perfect. Just 10 minutes from BS and 20 minutes from Cacapon State Park, but the best part is the lovely creek on the property. Our grandkids enjoyed finding crayfish and floating down the creek. The home itself has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Patty was a gracious host and offered suggestions on things to do as well as providing tubes for floating on the creek and the fixings for s'mores. The house is well maintained and and the AC was great on these hot days.

Cabin is beautiful. Very clean and well maintained. If your looking for a get away cabin experience I would highly recommend this property. We got to meet the owners and spend some time with them. They are great people. We hope to return.

Best Log Cabin EVER!
Six adults spent a wonderful 5 days at the log cabin. The pictures of the house are accurate...it's beautiful. The cabin had everything we needed. Gas logs gave a wonderful setting for evening chats. The dining area overlooks the wooded land and was the perfect setting for our meals. The beds and furnishings were all well above our expectations. We took several short walks into the hillside and enjoyed every minute. We ran out of time and didn't get to use the firepit which is located about 50 feet from the house. The owner made a visit to check on things and was very accommodating. The only negative may have been the lack of wifi and cellular service. Cellular service was available a couple hundred yards from the cabin. We were able to adjust easily! If you are looking for a quiet "get away" this is definitely the rental to consider.

We loved everything about our stay at the cabin. Everything was clean. The towels, sheets and pillows were also nice which was a plus! Perfect little getaway and place to unplug for a few days. We will definitely be back.

The cottage is very nicely appointed with quality materials, great kitchen, laundry, and comfortable beds. The setting is beautiful with lots of hardwoods and quiet. They even had a stocked fire-pit with s'mores! Would have been even better with wifi and cell service was spotty.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at this property. The cabin is comfortable, clean, and well equipped. The owners are very responsive to any situation that might arise - (burned out reading lightbulb). The bedrooms are good sized and the bathrooms are very nice.

Great little getaway
Three college friends and I had a mini reunion here, and it was wonderful. So cozy, minutes from town, with beautiful parks nearby. It’s a relatively quiet, wooded spot, but be aware that the owners and other guests are on property, and they are quite close. We missed that in the listing. It did not heavily impact us, but if you are looking for more solitude, this may not be ideal. There was some vehicle noise from other guests off and on, and we crossed paths with the other guests and owners. The home is clean, roomy, and comfortable. It has everything you could need, and is well-maintained. We thorough enjoyed the atmosphere, the fireplace, and outdoor seating. Berkeley Springs is also a nice little spot to explore. Overall, a lovely experience!
