"Normally our kids and grandkids come to our house for 2-3 hours and everything is a rush. This year we brought the whole family to this amazing retreat. It was perfect. Absolutely perfect. Silence. No cars. No road noise at all. Pure silence. We all put our phones away for the weekend, played board games, pool, cards, went for walks and enjoyed talks around the fire pit. "This home is very secluded and very quiet. It is also well kept. The roads to get there are narrow and very dusty, but also very scenic in its own special way. The house may not be suited for some people because the bedroom is upstairs with relatively narrow steps, and the bathroom is on the ground level. We enjoyed the stay very much."

"We loved our stay at the Hilltopper cabin! It was so clean, easy to find things, and had just the right level of what you need in a rural cabin. Hiking trips were great and included Glory Hole, Pedestal Rocks, and Alum Cove. Highly recommend the Ozark Cafe and Jasper Pizza Co. Great scenery, hiking, and R&R! "

"We stayed at this adorable cottage with our family and had a great time. The cottage is cozy, spotlessly clean, and has so many thoughtful extras. We appreciated having plenty of cooking utensils, pots and pans, etc for cooking meals. It was also great to have a washer and dryer. The beds were comfy and the cottage is up on a hill away from the highway so it was nice and quiet. "We loved our stay at Hilltop Lodge. John, the host, is super easy to communicate with and always ready to help. The house itself is beautiful, clean, and we loved the 3.5 bathrooms and 4 separate bedrooms for our group. The land is gorgeous and we really enjoyed grilling out and just sitting on the porches watching our kids play. Thanks so much John and we will be back soon!"
