"The property was as listed. Very quiet and peaceful! When we drove in we were greeted by 10 turkeys. My husband was very excited!! Beautiful setting on the river."

"Such a cute little spot to stay just outside of town. The owners really love this place and it shows. The room was super tidy and clean and had everything a chain hotel would have. The bathroom light/fan combo is a little jarring so maybe bring a small nightlight. The path leading to the beach was ADORABLE! A cute little trellis and a fairy garden stump to add some magic! "

"The location of this hotel is ideal. It is located right on the South shore of Lake Superior and a small river. The view from the lake view room we reserved was fantastic. We also enjoyed sleeping with the drapes open so that we could see all of the stars over the lake while laying in bed. The grounds are also excellent. There are benches and logs to sit on while watching the sunset, looking at stars, or the Northern Lights. Unfortunately we did not see the Northern Lights. They were visible there the night before our arrival."
