Great Stay
We loved the Gite, and the location. Daniel was a wonderful host. He couldn’t do enough for us. We didn’t have a car and he even took us to the airport on our return. We borrowed two of his bikes and had a great time cycling along the Dordogne pathway.

Really enjoyed our visit to the area and to the Gite. The house was very comfortable and Daniel was very helpful and gave us some lovely produce from his garden. It's near to Bergerac but also deep in the countryside and very rural and tranquil at the gite.

We’ve had a wonderful week in the gite which started with a warm welcome from the owners with complimentary wine, jam and fresh homegrown vegetables. The location is perfect for a relaxing stay, with the interesting town of Bergerac within an easy drive. Highly recommended.

Une semaine en pleine nature.
Nos filles ont adoré jouer dehors avec Sira la petite chienne, profiter du hamac, de la table de ping pong et essayer d escalader les ballots de paille. Bergerac est à 10 minutes en voiture et le lac pour se baigner à 5 minutes. Le propriétaire est très gentil, sa maison est attenante au gîte mais je pense que nous avons fait avec nos 4 filles bcp plus de bruit que lui. Nous garderons un bon souvenir de nos vacances.

Après 48h nous avons quitté le gîte Propriété certe non cloturee, mais très loin du calme annonce. Aucune intimité dans les extérieurs et pas si " dois friendly" que cela... Cependant propriétaire honnête.

Hübsches Haus inmitten traumhafter Wiesen
Wir waren zusammen mit unserem jungen Hund das erste Mal auf Urlaubsreise. die Vermieter hatten eine noch jüngere Hündin mit der sich unser Rüde prima verstand. Das war für uns alle schön! Ich habe noch nie solche Wiesen mit so einer vielfältigen Flora gesehen, so hoch, so bunt, so lebendig -sogar Orchideen wachsen dort. Die Wiesen wachsen rund ums Haus, man darf durchlaufen (!!) sagt der Vermieter M. Philipp, der ein sehr aufmerksamer und sehr angenehmer Gastgeber ist. Wir haben schöne Wanderungen von der Ferienwohnung aus gemacht. Richtung Süden sind mehrere Bio Weingüter fussläufig in 20 Minuten erreichbar. Sehr gute Weine gibts da. Im Haus gibts mehr als wir brauchten (also alles). Die Außen Anlage mit Garten, Hängematte, Tischen läd zum verweilen und genießen ein, man ist für sich und trotzdem nicht allein. Leider waren wir nur eine Woche dort!

Aan te raden! Super.
Wij hebben ontzettend genoten van ons verblijf in deze gite. Het huisje is niet groot, maar wel functioneel en goed uitgerust, alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig, tot strijkijzer, haardroger en afwassponzen aan toe. Het is bovendien gezellig ingericht. Degelijke bedden. De tuin is fantastisch. Je zit midden in de natuur, geen kijk op andere gebouwen, totale rust. Er is een klein tussenschot tussen het stukje tuin naast de gite en de tuin van de eigenaars, hierdoor heb je alle privacy. Je zit echter niet ingesloten, hebt een open zicht en bent ook welkom in de gehele grote tuin. Er is een hond aanwezig, en hoewel ik daar normaal bang van ben, moet ik zeggen dat dit dier zeer rustig en welopgevoed is, en afstand kan houden indien je dit aangeeft. De hond was ook rustig in de buurt van onze kinderen, 2j en baby van 6 maanden. De eigenaars zijn erg vriendelijk en aanspreekbaar, en geven je ook alle privacy. Bij het aankomen stond er versgemaakte confituur klaar voor ons en kregen we een fles wijn cadeau. Tijdens ons verblijf kwam de eigenaar ons ook nog verse groenten van zijn moestuin brengen. Ik apprecieer dit soort gastrvije gebaren erg, het maakt dat je je welkom voelt. Ook zochten de eigenaars speelgoed bij elkaar voor ons dochtertje van twee, bijvoorbeeld emmertjes en een fietsje. Qua locatie beetje rijden voor een fijne zwemplek, maar je zit wel mooi in de natuur en ook dicht bij Bergerac. Wie een vakantiehuisje zoekt zonder grote luxe, eenvoudig maar gerieflijk, in de natuur: ik kan dit absoluut aanraden. Wij zijn helemaal ontspannen en hebben mooie herinneringen aan deze vakantie. Bedankt.

Félicitations à Mr Philippe pour la qualité de son accueil, et pour les prestations durant le séjour
Endroit très calme et reposant Gite au top, tout le matériel nécessaire est à notre disposition. Le gite est nickel, la literie est propre et confortable, et Mr Philippe est un très bon fournisseur en tomates, pêches, confitures................ tout çà bénévolement. Encore merci, c'est certain, nous retournerons au gîte des ânes.

Excellent dépaysement!
Excellent gîte. Dépaysement assurée. Loin de la ville et de sa grisaille. Daniel et sa femme étaient excellents, très disponibles et à l'écoute. Merci encore pour ces bons légumes frais du jardins. Sans oublier les ânes, nous deux enfants ont apprécié le tour à dos d'âne. Merci encore de nous avoir permis de faire la pêche aux écrevisses au bord de votre étang. Nous recommandons sans hésiter ce gîte. Nous y passerons sans doutent dès notre prochain passage dans la région.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce gîte. Entouré de verdure, il est très au calme tout en étant proche de Bergerac. Les chambres sont très spacieuses, la literie de qualité et le rez-de-chaussée apporte tout le confort nécessaire. Les propriétaires sont très soucieux du bien-être de leurs vacanciers. Bref, une belle semaine au gîte des ânes...

Wat een fantastische plek!
Helemaal buiten, volledige rust en toch binnen 10 minuten in Bergerac. Het huis is prima. Goed bed en prima wasmachine . Echt een aanrader dit huis.
