"Older property with two areas. main courtyard with reception and annex courtyard with rooms around a pool. The reception had A/C and the eating area outside was nice. The restaurant did a great job with breakfast but was not the right choice for dinner. The rooms are old and while functional, not very modern. A/C struggled to cool the room. The pool was small but refreshing. The primary attendant that seemed to run the hotel was very accommodating and nice. He also spoke English. Nice...

"I had a wonderful stay at Hera Boutique Hotel. The property is beautiful and the location was perfect. My room was clean and breakfast was great. What makes this hotel special is the owner. He was very helpful with travel arrangements and transportation and restaurant recommendations. I cannot wait to return."

"Booked and prepaid two rooms at this hotel via Expedia. Upon arrival front desk informed us that only one room was booked! Not very convenient for five people! After finally bringing up our expedia account on our cell phones, they said ok and began to search for a second room for us. They found one! It stank like cigarette smoke. The floors in the room were absolutely horrible. Not just dirt, but popcorn seeds, sunflower seeds etc. I don't think it had been cleaned for months. The other room...

"The neighborhood is special. Our original hotel, Las Pergaman was unexpectedly full, so we stayed with charming neighbors, and became unexpected guests at the Bergamin Film Festival fund raiser. Our room had a spectacular view of the Basilica ruins. A potential lemonade was turned into Lemoncelo."
