"Fabulous week in the Dordogne based at this property - very rural and quiet but lots of lovely towns and Chateau’s and other things to see and do in the region so you will need a hire car to get around. The Gîte is superbly welcoming and comfortable - has everything you need for your stay. Craig and Caroline are fantastic hosts too, full of great advice beforehand when planning your stay and also on hand if needed while there. If I could 6 stars here I would! "

"We were greeted very warmly by Philippe and his wife, and they offered us coffee when we arrived. We were then shown around the accommodation and given details of the surrounding area and attractions. The accommodation was well equipped and spotlessly clean. It was perfect for our break and in a very quiet area, but easy to find. Nothing was too much trouble for Philippe during our stay which we enjoyed immensely. We hope to return next year, and would definitely stay here again. "

There are no frills but the layout of the house was perfect for 2 families and it is spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything you need. "This is a lovely gite, set in a tranquil spot, well equipped and maintained - we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. But most of all, Thierry and Régine were the most welcoming, generous and helpful hosts, and made our stay so memorable. We felt that we had made new friends... On a practical level: the stairs are steep, so not ideal for anyone with mobility issues; there's no washing machine (but we were offered the chance to use theirs); we really did feel as though we had the pool...
