"We had 3 couples staying for a trip to the area to dine at 3 Blacksmiths. The house was HUGE and fully stocked with everything you could need. The caretakers answered all of our questions and were very helpful during our stay. We enjoyed the ping pong table, fire pits and hot tub. We are already discussing booking another trip with our kids!"

"The perfect Thanksgiving family venue! This place has amazing views, the backyard is a hiking trail, it has a huge fireplace that we kept going our entire stay, plenty of games, plenty of space for your own fun or relaxation and a huge deck with swings to enjoy the views!! Would highly recommend this to anyone with AWD or 4WD!!"

"With grandparents and 2 families with children, not only was the house perfect but the fenced yard was huge and spectacular. We didn’t use the hot tub, but there was plenty of good space for adults, too. We gathered for a family wedding, but the space enabled us to spend a few wonderful relaxing days with family we rarely see. Communication with Leora was prompt and accommodating. 5 stars all around! Thank you!"

"My husband and I absolutely loved this little place 😊 It is super close to just about anything you need, and plenty of activities in the area with beautiful views. The barn is super cute, clean and comfortable. The fact that we could bring our American Bully with us was a huge bonus. It was his first trip, and he definitely had as much fun as we did 💜 The property owners are also extremely nice and responsive to messages. We would absolutely stay here again. "

"Beautiful location if you like alone time in the mountains."

"The house was definitely rural. The river flowing by was very peaceful. The big yard is a great place for kids to toss a ball. The best time to stay would be late spring, summer, early fall."

"Hubby and I were in town for a wedding with our 21 year old son. We were walking distance from some great local stops and just a short drive from anything we needed and plenty to do. Next trip we’d like to take advantage of hiking options we didn’t have time for this trip. Sooooo much better than a hotel, this place is loaded with character and comfort touches a plenty and provided everyone a nice balance of privacy and togetherness! Great stay!"

"I gave 4 stars on cleanliness due to hallway floors being very dirty. No white socks remained. Communications were horrible due to phone being very static filled. Master bedroom lamp was broken. Exchanged it with one from another bedroom. TV remote controls need new batteries. Otherwise, very nice place."

"Lovely home and perfect for our family. Great communication with the owner. Our only disappointment was the fireplace was not working and David tried to get someone out to fix it but it was a Saturday and no one was available. We appreciated that he tried! Loved that it was dog friendly!! "

"The home is in a very cool location. We loved the drive to the house. There were great views of the river. The home had everything needed to enjoy the river, but our stay was too cold to enjoy the river. Overall, the home was just what we were looking for!"

"We were in Luray for a family wedding. This is a beautiful home in a quiet and serene neighborhood yet close to downtown. Nicely decorated, clean and updated. Plenty of room to spread out. Wonderful outdoor space. Enjoyed watching the cows in the pasture across the road as we sipped on our morning coffee on the front porch. Wish we could have stayed longer!
