Clean, but dated
Great experience with rental agent. Lightening fast responses to questions and helped with a special request for a crock pot for our stay. No complaints there. Beds were comfortable.
The condo is very dated. Sponge painted walls in very bright colors, a VCR, tapestry sofas. Condo has great potential and was very clean and spacious but seriously needs updating. Showers are slippery and slanted. I think a large person or an elderly would have safety issues. Throwing a towel in the bottom of the shower would help.
The resort was run down. Thigh high weeds, etc. Maybe they clean it up for summer?
Would have liked to have seen a deadbolt on the door - if someone knows the code they can walk right in. There was no way to secure the door from the outside other than the code lock. Left us feeling pretty uneasy. Cardboard cut-out in front window as a window shade. An iron and ironing board would be a nice addition.
Not sure that we would stay here again - we used it as a home base for Paducah Quilt Week so we weren’t there very much.
No WiFi - and one of our ladies wasn’t even able to get a single bar on her phone - so no calls in or out or internet service for a week. Mine was spotty - could text and make calls, but couldn’t get any online reception.
But - clean and spacious - which is important.
