Beach Breeze is a recently constructed luxury home directly on Lake Michigan. It is perfectly situated just 5 minutes north of St. Joseph and 20 minutes south of South Haven. With over170 feet of private sandy beach, it is the perfect spot to get away for your beach vacation. Stunning views of Lake Michigan greet you from the moment you walk up to the front door and step onto the custom white oak floors which are throughout the house. There are 5 ensuite bedrooms including two primary suites, one of which is on first floor. There is plenty of room for the whole family, and the 5 bedrooms with 5 1/2 baths accommodate up to14 guests. They consist of three bedrooms with king beds, one bedroom on the first floor with a queen bed, and six twin beds in the custom built-in bunkroom. Large windows throughout the house provide gorgeous views of Lake Michigan. Stairs with a walking path lead to a large sandy PRIVATE not association beach. The home office with glass French doors is perfect for checking in on work while getting away with your family. RH, Pottery Barn, Crate & Barrel, Serena & Lily, and West Elm furniture grace the home. The large custom built kitchen with quartz countertops and ample work surface is a dream in which to prepare those special meals while still enjoying views of the lake from the bank of large windows over the kitchen sink. Not only do stunning views greet you from within the house, but also there are multiple decks from which to enjoy the lake. A large deck accessible from the main living room lines the entire back of the house and is complete with Adirondack chairs. Another deck serves the main bedroom and provides the perfect spot to sip that morning coffee while watching the boats out on Lake Michigan. The east bedroom enjoys its own private deck as well. In addition, a generous screened porch with a vaulted ceiling and a bluestone patio with a fire pit are perfect spots to gather while watching the waves dance along the lake. The Joola Ping Pong table and air hockey provide lots of entertainment when you are not outdoors enjoying the lake. In addition, the mud room and separate laundry room add plenty of storage for all of your gear. What a gem!
We stay in the St. Joe's area 3-5 times per year. This is without question my favorite vacation home. The views are incredible, the layout is thoughtful. and the place was spotless when we arrived. The close proximity to Downtown St. Joe's was a huge bonus as well.

Amazing home on Lake Michigan
This is probably the nicest rental home we have ever stayed in. The house is amazing and the views and direct access to the lake really make this house special. We had three generations with us and everyone enjoyed the common areas and we also had room to spread out. The hosts were extremely helpful as well.

Beautiful, clean, well equipped, fun place to stay for a family vacation!
We had a great time on our family reunion trip to Michihan! The home was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed to enjoy a week's vacation together. We had a 3 kiddos and 7 adults and we all had a relaxing week in this home. The sunsets were definitely a highlight and we enjoyed the porch when it was drizzling, but we still wanted to be outside. Communication before and during our stay was quick and easy, we would definitely stay here again!!

The Perfect Weekend Getaway
I can't say enough good things about this property. It was everything I hoped for and all that the pictures promised. Checkin was flawlessly easy and everything you think you need is already in the house, all the details were laid out very thoughtfully. There was more than enough space for my party of 8 to spread out and have private time but also perfect spaces for us all to come together.

We loved the numerous large gathering areas indoors and outdoors. We appreciated having bathrooms connected to each bedroom. The peace & quiet was great on the lakeside of the house, but we could unfortunately hear the the hwy63 traffic in the front bedrooms and the screened in porch. Overall a BEAUTIFUL property.

The house is perfect for a multi-generational family wanting to spend time together in a picture perfect setting.The magnificent view of Lake Michigan can be enjoyed from the balconies or the screened porch or the patio or the lawn or - the beach itself! The owner provided both indoor and outdoor game equipment and beach toys for the children. Everyone had fun!

Wonderful Week in a Beautiful Home
Our family of 10 (6 adults and 4 children) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Beach Breeze last week, celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. The home is beautifully decorated and in a lovely setting. With five bedrooms, four with ensuite bathrooms, everyone had plenty of space. We also enjoyed the lower level for recreational activities and the screened-in porch for meals and conversation. As others have stated, the only drawback is the steep walkway to the beach (especially for older adults with mobility issues and very young children). However, we discovered a wonderful beach nearby at Jean Klock Park and took advantage of this local resource. Jim and Linda are wonderful hosts and were available whenever we had questions. Thanks for a wonderful week!

Beautiful New Lake Home
Lovely new home with high-quality furnishings. Beds and linens are super comfy. Large chefs kitchen, stunning west facing balcony with ample seating overlooking lake Michigan. Wonderful sunset views! Nice beach but not easily accessible...176 pretty steep winding stairs. Great to get your workout in especially carrying beach items. My 78 year old mother only made it once. Recreational basement was utilized a lot with cards, ping pong and air hockey. Owners are super friendly with great communication. No keurig so make sure to bring ground coffee, also bring beach towels, shampoo/conditioner, speaker for music, any water activity equipment.

Expansive Vista
Our group of 12 adults ages 26-65 enjoyed our week long stay, an annual August gathering that we hold in different spots along the “coastline of the Mitten” state. The St. Joes area was new to some of us, and we made a great choice of locale and accommodation. The home provided comfortable gathering space for preparing meals, playing cards and watching Premier League opening soccer matches. The patio fire pit was a nightly ritual and the beach a daily delight. The expansive backyard provided a sense of privacy and grandeur, and reminded me more of parts of old time Newport RI or Cape Cod, rather than the typical crowded cottage areas of some resort areas. The beds were supremely comfortable and nights were so quiet allowing the waves to lull one to sleep. None of us had difficulty with the beach steps, which are so thoughtfully designed. Never saw more than 2 or 3 other people on the beach. If you’re looking for a sense of luxury indoors and nature’s beauty outdoors ( and proximity to great golf) this is the place for your group. Jim, the homeowner, is cordial and responsive. You will not be disappointed.

By far our best VRBO rental
Beach Breeze is a place that Jim and his wife obviously take pride in. His care shows from the moment you drive onto the property. They have thought of every detail to make the stay wonderful, and their tone of communication is generous, accommodating, and hospitable. The sunsets were breathtaking. The private beach was very enjoyable and relaxing (there are ~176 steps down to the water but our 4-year old gladly made the trip down/up independently). The basement was decked out with air hockey, ping pong, children's books, and games. We had no reason to turn on the TV! Pickleball on the driveway was so fun! We enjoyed many meals on the screened-in deck, the fire pit, and grilling out back. They even have an outdoor shower/foot shower for sandy trips back from the beach! The beds were very comfortable throughout (and I tend to be a mattress snob). For part of our visit we had my parents, sister and brother-in-law, and nephew. There was plenty of space for us to sleep restfully even when the children were up early. We had a great time cooking together and relaxing. I cannot recommend Beach Breeze enough. We had the best time and we agreed it was largely because of the house/accommodations. The comfort of the space, the well-equipped kitchen, private beach, screened-in deck, and ease of communication with Jim all made for an incredibly relaxing week that our family desperately needed. Thanks Jim!

One of the best
Our family has been renting vacation properties on the Michigan shore for the past 15 years and this property is easily the nicest home we've rented. It's roomy, comfortable, attractive, and well-designed. Kitchen is great with plenty of countertops and storage and a 6-burner range. Plenty of beds for our 8 family members, ample parking for 3 cars. Property owner was a pleasure to work with and very responsive to our every question and request. He apparently monitors the property from his home because when we had a brief power outage he called us to make sure we had everything we needed. The beach is beautiful, clean, wide, sandy, and uncrowded. We didn't even notice any power boat and wave runner noise like we always have at so many other rental properties. The property is almost perfect, but for two drawbacks. First, because the house sits so close to the highway, there is considerable road noise when you're sitting out on the spacious screened-in porch, which is a shame because we would have used that space more more often otherwise. Inside the house, there is no road noise at all. Second, access to the beach is very difficult. There is a stairway down which is 175 steps long, very steep, and in spots a little treacherous. Not an easy descent at all and even more taxing coming up. The access didn't seem to bother the teenagers in our group, but some of the older members of our party -- especially my 91-year-old father-in-law -- simply could not make the trip.

Beach Breeze is the Best!
We had an amazing time at this wonderful home. It is thoughtfully designed for family time from the open kitchen to the table that seats 10, to the outdoor fire pit, to the gorgeous sunsets, lovely beach, ping pong and game tables, and ample lawn space, while still providing private rooms and baths for all. And the main suite -- just wow, what a view! The place was clean, beds comfy and the hosts could not have been nicer or more helpful. You will not be disappointed by anything at Beach Breeze!

Great getaway house!
Fabulous house. Well laid out with open floor plan, lots of great living space, and a great big kitchen. LOTS of counter space and great kitchen tools and utensils. Bedrooms were all comfortable, and en suite. whole home is brand new and well designed. A great place to gather for your friends and family. Direct beach access is a hike down to the beach, but really private, and was a nice bonus.

Great Lake Front Family Times
Three generations of our family stayed at Beach Breeze for a week in mid-August and had a fabulous time. The place lived up to the pictures and description in the listing. Spectacular views from the kitchen, living area and primary bedroom made us feel like we were at the lake even when we were inside. Bedrooms were spacious enough and having most of them be en suite was a nice bonus. Jim was a great host. He was very responsive when we had questions and made us feel very comfortable and welcome. We would certainly consider staying again!

The Host was delightful and very accommodating. The house is a first-class, well-decorated, and spacious property. We had our family of young adults whose sleep schedule was much different than that of their elders. The open floor plan made it difficult to contain the terrace level joyful noise from the 3rd floor bedroom level. The close proximity to the public beach in St. Joseph mitigated the 175 steps to the private beach of this house. The kitchen is well-equipped for gourmet chefs. The sunset views were spectacular.. This was a good value for a family reunion. Thank you.
