"At Sweet Songs you will enjoy a lovely setting, tranquility, and outstanding service. Having the botanical garden next door is a bonus. Xunantunich and other attractions are not far away. The only concern is the rough road to reach the jungle lodge, but that is certainly not a reason to pass on this wonderful resort."

"Nabitunich is a destination on its own right, worth making the trip to Belize. It is a place with a heart and character. It felt like a rural heaven on Earth. Location: don't let the fact that it is outside of town dissuade you- getting here is very easy because the property is on the main highway to the border with Guatemala. From Belize city you can take any bus going to Flores, Benque or San Ignacio and stop at San Ignacio/Benque and take a cheap taxi from there or ask to be stopped at the road leading to Nabitunich, like we did. We also asked the bus to take us from the nearby Mopan Gas Station for our onward journey to Flores in Guatemala. The fact that it's outside towns means you have piece and quiet and lots of space to go for walks and lots of wildlife. San Ignacio town didn't look great, so we had no desire to even go there. There is a lot to do around Nabitunich- we rented horses with a guide to go to the nearby Mayan historic site along the river, which was a great experience and we highly recommend it. There are also different walking paths in the forrest and along the river to go for safe walks. Finally- the person running the place Dominic made our stay extra special- he is super friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable, with a great sense of humour and it was a pleasure spending time with him. Thank you for our stay, Dominic! Also thank you to all the warm and hardworking staff of Nabitunich who made sure the who place is clean, beautiful and who cooked the food. "

"The propery is beautiful - so many plants and flowers and birds. I loved that the room was its own building with a deck looking over the river and hearing and seeing the jungle birds and creatures. The morning coffee and snack basket at the door was a delight. We thoroughly enjoyed our facials at the yoga deck, the bird watching walk and the food and drinks! Everyone is kind, caring, responsive and helpful. The resort is very ecofriendly - growing food and herbs onsite, encouraging re-usable water bottles, making their own cheese. It felt good to be part of that! Thanks again for a fantastic stay. This was my second time there - hoping to continue the tradition!"

"Beautiful property! Very expensive but was very thankful I got at least one night experience at Gaia. Waking up to the 5 Sisters waterfalls is magical. Especially loved the garden and was very lucky to get a tour from farmer Pat. We also did a night jungle walk and we enjoyed that a lot as well. "

Paula greeted me at my late arrival and made sure I had everything I needed both at check in and throughout my stay, including some great excursions. The ever present bar and restaurant crew Elias and Harim were always there with recommendations and friendly conversation. Be it I had to leave early for a tour or needed advice on bars to visit while in town. Rangel, Kevin, Maria and Helen were busy keeping the room clean and the property well kept. If you visit be sure to go see the turtles in the wishing well and tell them hi. "
