"The Southshire is a beautiful vintage home with original details, great charm, working original fireplace in the large cozy wood paneled parlor. There are games, large comfy sofas, and bookcases full of every genre of books for reading. The dining room is lovely and quaint. My room in the carriage house was very large and furnished with antiques and a working fireplace. Joe, the owner, was extremely nice and very accommodating. He even spent a half hour with me digging my car out of the snow and ice and literally pushing my car out of a snow pile! I can highly recommend a stay at this charming Inn if you are looking for true New England authenticity. Thank you Joe for making this a special place."

"We needed a room for four of us to get some sleep before getting out on the slopes the next day. Starlight Inn was perfectly located along our drive. The owners were lovely, seems to be a family owned business. The room was comfortable, clean, and nostalgic. Would stay again! "

"We did enjoy our stay and liked the accommodations. The pics do not entirely do it justice. 1) The living room is larger than the pics suggested. 2) The kitchen pic does not show the bar area which is very nice. and 3) There is no pic of the second bedroom which is also nice.The hostess was helpful in assisting us when we locked ourselves out and was pleasant and co-operative."
