close to beach and shops restraunts/bars
appartments are good value for money and clean with night security guard on duty and security entry good for s/c if you want new towels etc the maids are happy to give you them all you have to do is ask lot of people moan about the linen not being changed but it is s/c and there is a washing machine i think the staff are very helpfull they are usually there 10am to2pm

Entry on arrival.
When we arrived, it was surprising to find 3 apartment blocks, we could not get in until someone came out of the complex. The receptionist just gave us the keys & sent us on our way. There was no explanation as to what we had to do with the keys on departure either. No letter box at the office so we left them in the apartment.

Do not expect any help when things go wrong.
We stayed at Las Carabelas, Block 1, Floor 13, Appartment 8. The accommodation was ok but the service was bad. We were left for two days having to flush the toilet with a bucket of water because the cistern was not refilling. We were also left for 15 hours over night without electricity. A nightmare given that one member of our party was a 10 month old child who wanted a bottle at 1am. I had to take a kettle outside and use an external socket to boil the water for the baby’s bottle. When we complained we were told that “it is not our problem and you should take your complaint to the electricity company”. VERY disappointing !

Las Carabelas bestaat uit 3 gebouwen. Wij zaten in blok 3 op de 8e etage nr 3. Bij aankomst was het appartement kraakhelder. Valt niks van te zeggen. Jammer dat er geen balkon is maar alleen schuifdeuren. Alles was aanwezig van wasmachine tot magnetron en alle andere benodigdheden als je zou willen koken. Er waren 3 minpunten en dat zijn: tijdens het verblijf geen schoonmaak, geen vervanging van beddengoed en 1 keer zelf handdoeken moeten gaan ruilen. Verder wordt het complex keurig onderhouden en loopt er 's avonds en 's nachts een bewaker rond wat toch een veilig gevoel geeft.
