Overall property was clean and a decent place to stay, not much usable yard, could use some touch ups all over the property, great responsiveness from host and overall positive experience
We had a wonderful stay with friends and enjoyed the spaciousness in the home as well as the firepit out back! We were able to see several elk nearby and even saw a bullfight! The walk to the creek behind the home is beautiful and we saw elk tracks along the path!
Overall, very nice, and worked perfect for our trip. Cleanliness was good. Bathrooms were small, but worked fine. Well equipped kitchen. Property was nice. Great communication with property owner. Wifi connection was poor, but did not impact our trip at all.
Our trip was fantastic! We got to see a Bull Elk down the hill in the back woods, fish in the river just down the path and hear Elk from the house! The house was clean, stocked, great location and comfy. We plan to return next year! Our host was friendly and warm! Great place!
This is a fantastic place to stay. The location is in the heart of elk country! We enjoyed the fire pit and seen some deer come through! Plenty of elk in the area with some really nice bulls. The cabin had all the amenities we could need! Truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!
We had a great time. Saw 2 big Bulls walk right behind the house. The creek is a nice escape to walk back through the woods too. The ping pong table got a lot of use. None of us had cell service and the WIFI isn't strong enough to operate the Roku TV or give the cell phone service to reach out with. There is a DVD player, bring movies/games to occupy the kids.
Nice! Close proximity to elk viewing and visitor center
Overall, very nice. Cleanliness was good. Bathrooms were small. Not easily accessible for larger older people. Well equipped kitchen. Great communication with property owner. TV Internet connection was poor.
We loved the cozy living area and the kids enjoyed the game room. The beds were all very comfortable which was a plus when looking for relaxation after a day of hiking. We enjoyed seeing the elk and deer on and around the property!
Beautiful wooded area where we saw wildlife in the yard! The kids loved swimming in the creek and playing in the game room. Host was very responsive to questions. Thankful for all of the available dishes, utensils, linens, and towels. We were happy to be able to bring the furry part of the family along as well. Plenty of room for our family to stay together. The trash situation was a bit difficult with 10 guests and one small can available for trash so we had to drive our trash to the local disposal area.
We arrived at dusk - It took three times to go past and back to find the property- There was a small wooden sign with the number on one side that you could not read in dusk. No lights in the front of the house to help us get in and unload.
On entering thing did not look right - Cracked and broken time on the fireplace hearth, the table showed to seat 8-10 in true it was crowed to seat 6. We could hear water running - the bathroom with the shower stall - water was dripping in the shower, this left a nasty orange ring in the shower, it splashed on the floor and we were not able to turn it off. So it also kept folks awake at night. A few of the floor tiles were cracked and the grout was broken. We found out they moved when my father in law slid and almost fell on the toilet. The room We slept in had no door. - not even a curtain for privacy. The bathroom with the tub. Towels were on a shelf that allowed them to lay part on the floor. There was no drain so you could not take a bath. The inside of the tub was very slippery there needs to be fall resistant stickers there. The kitchen - the oven was not cleaned before we arrived., the fridge door did not close unless you pushed or slammed it. We were disappointed that we could not use the dishwasher, no covers on the ceiling lights, the dish drainer was set up on a fancy glass or stone board the water ran on to the counter then the floor before we figured it out. We had to do a search to find toilet paper. I have photos if you like
