Annual visit to Benezette
Such a comfortable, clean,cabin. The weather was wonderful, we enjoyed the fire ring, hot tub and the porches. Lots of trails to take side by side and over to the elk viewing and wagon rode. Great time!

Awesome place!
This place is very nice. It is also our second stay here. It has everything and then some of what a person might need or want. Hot tub, fire ring. We couldn’t of ask for a nicer place to stay. This house is located between Winslow hill and the elk museum and viewing area. We sit out on deck at night and listen to elk bugle . We drink our coffee in morning and listen to the elk bugle. The only thing I can say I would change would be that it only had one bathroom. But we made due. It truely is a awesome place.

Enjoyable trip!
Place was very clean and cozy! Well stocked with items needed for the three nights. The only issue is when partner got up at three the power was out. It didn’t come on until 7:30-7:45. A scramble to get breakfast, showered and packed by 10. Other than the stay was very nice, we had nice weather until rain moved in on Sunday, got out to the visitor center and enjoyed their activities. Thanks for great accommodations!

Elk Country Cabin
The cabin was beautiful! It was clean and well maintained! Had everything the listing said and then some. We couldn't get the gas fireplace to work, so I texted the maintenance person listed in the binder at the property. This happened at around 9:00 PM. He got back to me immediately and was able to tell me how to get it working via text messages. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again in the future!

Perfection!
Everything about this cabin is perfect! It was extremely clean and had all the conveniences of home. We really appreciated simple things (paper towels, napkins, toilet paper, garbage bags, laundry detergent, etc.) being provided. The neighbors were very friendly, and the neighborhood was peaceful and pleasant. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful
We stayed here for a long weekend. It was perfect for our needs … kitchen was well equipped and the place was spotless. The host was very accommodating and answered our questions promptly. Bonus was that we took a short drive in the early evening and saw 19 elk!

Wonderful cabin in a great location!
My husband and I spent two nights in February. The cabin was perfect and had everything we needed. The heat worked great, and we loved the fireplace. Beds and sofa were comfortable and there were plenty of towels in the bathroom. We cooked one meal a day and had all the dishes, utensils and pots we needed for a basic meal. We did not see any wildlife at the cabin, but saw elk, deer and turkeys riding around town and at some of the viewing areas. I would highly recommend this cabin and plan to make a return trip in the future.

A real escape
We loved this cute cabin and hot tub! We fell asleep in front of the fireplace every night. We saw lots of elk at the bottom of the hill and they walked right up to our car! We had coffee and donuts at the elk life every morning and the hotel restaurant had good food-but STAY AWAY from the Christmas bash beer (🥴) there’s no cell signal but fast Wi-Fi so it was great for disconnecting. Would recommend :)

Very cozy, comfy, & quiet
The cabin was very cozy and everything was pretty much brand new. We really enjoyed the indoor and outdoor fires throughout our stay. All of the furniture was extremely comfortable and we spent a great deal of time just hanging out, cooking, eating, and playing games. Unfortunately, we did not see any elk on the property, but we did see them when we traveled down towards the visitors center (which was closed during our stay). There is not much to do around the area (especially in the winter) so be prepared to have a very low key stay, which is exactly what we wanted! :) This cabin was perfect for 6 people, but if we would've had more, I think it would've been too crowded, unless they were small children. If you decide to rent this cabin, you will need to purchase your own wood for the outdoor fire pit, as there is no wood provided for you. There is an older gentleman who sells wood for a very reasonable price down by the closest gas station. This information was not left for us and we had to text the owner to ask. Also, make sure to bring your own camping chairs to enjoy the fire!! In the pictures, it looks like the cabin is in the middle of no where with no close neighbors. However, there are neighbors pretty close, which was a little disappointing for us as it's not what we were expecting. There are aren't many trees on the property and the cabin is not located in the "woods." However, if you walk down the road a little bit, you can walk along walking trails in the "real woods." You will also need to take all of the garbage accumulated during your entire stay home with you, as there is no dumpster on the property to leave it behind. This information was not left for us upon check in. We had so many garbage bags, we almost couldn't fit them in the cars. We had to fully unpack two whole cars and repack them to fit all of our garbage bags & luggage. We also ended up checking out late (due to attempting to fit all of the garbage bags in addition to waking up a little too late) which caused us to pay an additional $50, so make sure you check out on time!
