We did a self check in, so no need to connect directly with the property manager. However she was a bit slow to respond on check in day when we needed assistance with the wifi. "Our stay was fantastic. The house is beautifully decorated, and the fireplace makes it very cozy. Despite the house being historic, it was easy to get temperature of the different spaces comfortable. We visited in February, so it was a little cold to spend time outside, but the garden was beautiful. Our host was very attentive and helped with anything we asked for. "

"Fantastic area right in the heart of the castle. However, tricky to get to as you need to park your car 10 minutes away and then navigate through the cobbled streets. The house is very quaint, but has damp issues so you can smell mould ( although it was winter, so maybe it is better in summer). Heating was a bit basic. Barthroom had a vague smell of sewerage- not really strong, but enough for me to question the high price of the accomodation. Needs to spend a lot more on plumbing and heating, or...

For such a beautiful part of Portugal there was a disappointing view out of the apartment - looking at other buildings and being overlooked by them. Certainly not the stunning ocean view shown in all their marketing material.
