Skyline Lodge, Gorgeous Setting, Walk to Downtown!

From this beautiful Lodge style home, walk in minutes down Galveston Avenue Corridor to downtown Bend. This spectacular home is on an acre of private land at the base of Overturf Butte. The entire lot is covered in beautifully manicured grass with apple, plumb, peach trees and access to a wonderful vegetable garden in summertime. The back yard is fenced with an enormous hot tub and patio for sunny morning breakfasts and afternoon barbecues.

The home has 6 bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms, private outdoor hot tub, soaking tub, gas fireplace and dual heating and air conditioning units. With 4 king sized beds and 3 queen sized beds, the home can sleep up to 14 comfortably. There are also 2 twin beds in the Rec. room upstairs for children or single adults. The gourmet, country style kitchen is open to the living area with a breakfast nook and small eating bar. You won't have look twice to find what you need as the kitchen is stocked with every utensil you could imagine. I have been running my other vacation home the Riverfront Lodge here in Bend for 10 years now and I know how important it is to have a supper clean and well stocked house for my guests to enjoy.

You can get on your bike or one of the 5 mountain bikes I supply at the house and head up the bike path which starts at the house to Phil's trail head just minutes away or go right down Galveston Ave. to your favorite restaurant or pub or continue through Drake Park along the Deschutes river to iconic downtown Bend. You can enjoy a nice hike right from the house along the Parks and Rec. trail that leads you up Overturf Butte which starts just next to the property.

There is a 55 inch HD TV with blue-ray player in the living room downstairs and a 50 inch HD TV with blue-ray player in the rec room upstairs. Two bedrooms also have TV's. There is a large comfortable sectional couch in the rec room and many cozy couches and chairs in the living area along with a large dining room table and chairs. There is parking for up to 6 vehicles, 3 in the garage and 3 in the driveway.

I could go on and on, but the place speaks for itself. Please just take care of it, enjoy your stay and come back and visit us again!!!

such a perfect spot close to everything you ever want on the west side of Bend. Property was so nice we never wanted to leave, location was so good that any time we did, we were only a few minutes away from home base. great amenities for all kinds of fun.

Great stay for big group
This place was great for a large group! Kitchen had everything we needed and we enjoyed the large outdoor space. The house was centrally located and we were able to walk to a few close breweries.

Perfect Spot In Bend
Our group of 8 stayed here for a ski trip at Mt. Bachelor. It was in the perfect location! The house is amazing and has everything you could ever need. It is one of the best stocked houses we have stayed in. It is very close to everything you could ever need in Bend. We will definitely be staying here again if we are back in the area!

Great Family Vacation Stay
We only get out to Oregon every other year to visit our family. We were looking for a comfortable place to just hang out together. The house was large enough to let us all be together but also spread out when needed. The back yard was well used for badminton and football. We really enjoyed our stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property. Proximity to town, a wide variety of activity options, and plenty of beds for a group of 11 made this house perfect for us. One of the best stocked Vrbo stays we have ever had. You know those stays where you have one dishwasher pod, half paper towel roll, and no extra toilet paper. Such a nice change of pace here. Thank you! Nice house in close location to everything. Tons of yard games, bikes, and backs right up to trail system. Made a stressful destination wedding easier.

Great Family Getaway/Reunion Home
The minute our group walked into the home everyone said WOW.... We had four families and 5 kids and there were enough bedrooms and space for everyone to be very comfortable in this home. The location is ideal, far enough out to be peaceful and quiet but still 5 minutes from anywhere in town you wanted to go. The house was clean and well appointed with everything we needed. And the yard...the yard was amazing. Room to run and play and set up games. We were all very happy with staying in this home and would do so again in a minute.

This property was absolutely wonderful, just as Doug said in his listing description. I don’t think I have ever stayed at a more well equipped vacation rental. It really felt like home because everything we needed was there. There were only 6 adults so there were many rooms that were completely untouched but we loved having all of the space in the kitchen and great room and a king size bed and separate bathroom for each couple. Close enough to walk to lots of fun eating places, drake park, and downtown. Easy drive to bachelor and snow play and close to many breweries. We had a great week and Doug was a fantastic host.
