Historic Craftsman Bungalow, Just Steps to Downtown ~HOT TUB!~

Come stay at our Craftsman Bungalow located in the heart of Bend's Historic District in Old Bend. Built in 1919, this home is on the National Historical Register. We kept the historical elements, but added modern conveniences like central air conditioning & heating, high-end dishwasher, new gas range, remote start gas fireplace and more. Sidewalks on our street make for safe & easy walking. Close to all the best that Bend offers but far enough away for quiet enjoyment! Walk to Downtown, Old Mill District, Crux & other breweries, Market of Choice, Jackson's Corner and more - all within a 5 to 10 minute walk. Bend's latest hot spot, The Box Factory, with restaurants, Immersion Brewing, Avid Cider, Spoked, Food carts, yoga and summer and winter sports gear rentals is also a 5 minute walk. Enjoy front porch sitting or relax in the private backyard. You truly get a feel for Bend and its residents in our vibrant neighborhood. Each of the 2 bedrooms has a memory foam queen bed with soft sheets and a comforter. In each bedroom closet, there is a rollaway twin bed that can be used for the 5th or 6th person (recommended for children and or small adults). The main bathroom is large and remodeled with a new walk-in shower. A second full bathroom was added in 2023 and has gorgeous period touches like marble tiling and a pedestal sink. The large remodeled basement offers room to spread out with sofa, large screen TV, beer fridge, dart board and washer and dryer machines. The private backyard has a brand new paver patio, lots of grass, a propane BBQ, comfortable seating, great sun exposure and a patio sail shades. The backyard is fully enclosed with a 6 ft fence making it dog friendly & kid safe. We also provide you with 2 five speed cruiser bikes to get around town.

Wonderful Home in a Great Location!!
My husband and I stayed over Memorial Day weekend and thoroughly enjoyed this home. It had all of the amenities we could think of plus more! Old Mill district, downtown Bend and shopping were all 10 minute or less walk!

Great location to explore Bend

Great spot in Bend, Oregon
Such a charming little Craftsman bungalow with all the amenities you need and in a great location. Walking distance to Jackson Corner - a cute local place for breakfast and lunch; around the corner from Boneyard Brewing; two blocks from the Market of Choice - an upscale grocery store; and walkable to the Mill District, River trail; and downtown Bend. We’d definitely stay again next time we’re in Bend.

This was a great little place to stay. The neighborhood is quiet and it is quick walk to groceries or coffee. It isn't much further to walk downtown either. Everything was comfortable and all the basics and more were there for our stay.

Cozy Weekend Getaway
This was an excellent property for our party of four adults (two couples). The home is well equipped and in walking distance to both downtown and the Old Mill District. We enjoyed lounging in the comfortable chairs on the front porch and in the backyard. I would visit this property again.

Absolutely loved this place!
This place is awesome! Location was perfect. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Only 1/2 mile to downtown Bend. The market was a block or so away so very easy to grab anything we needed. Meg was super responsive too! Home was furnished very nicely.

This beautiful house was just what we needed for a few days in bend. The location was lovely and the house offered the perfect spot for some R&R. I loved all of the natural light that poured through the windows - a nice change from gloomy Seattle. The back yard was perfect - fenced and big enough for our dogs to enjoy. We had a lovely stay.

Craftsman Charm with Convenient Location
The bungalow is bright and airy with a well maintained yard on a lovely and quiet street in a convenient section of Old Bend. There is ample street parking as well. It’s no surprise that there are so many other 5 star reviews. Check in and out couldn’t have been easier and the communication with host was quick and accommodating. All this made for a very enjoyable stay in Bend.

Wonderful Bend home
We so enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. The home is in wonderful condition and is located in a quiet neighborhood filled with other lovely homes a short walk to downtown Bend, breweries, great food etc. the house was cozy and inviting. There were some minor issues with cleanlines (dog poop all over backyard from prior guests, dog hair in the house and on furniture, and cigarette butts left on front porch in planters) but they didn’t stop us from loving our stay.

Birthday Weekend
My mom and I came to Bend to celebrate her birthday with family and friends. We had a gathering in the backyard of the bungalow. It turned out exactly how I had pictured it. We BBQ’d and had cake and presents and the evening was perfect. We even a rousing card game around the dining room table. I loved the material on the chairs! The kitchen is pretty well outfitted. The rooms were comfortable. Enjoyed our stay immensely. All our family loved the place.

Comfort and Convenience in Bend
The Bend Bungalow is convenient to services, spotless and well appointed. The historic property has been upgraded where it counts (the kitchen, bathroom and garden) for gracious living, but still retains the charm of Old Bend. It’s been set up for the comfort of us short stayers, there’s plenty of elbow room and breathing space. The sunny back yard with outdoor seating is a plus. A pleasant walk through the quiet neighborhood to the bustling downtown. Easy communication with the host, helpful instruction book. Add on the bonus of a spectacular Market of Choice—an Oregon-style supermarket—that’s just around the corner and you have the perfect getaway spot every respect.

Memorial Day Baseball Tournament
We stayed here over the Memorial Day weekend. This is a lavely place and a quiet neighborhood. It is very close to the downtown, river, and river shops/restaurants. We walked to the James Taylor concert at the amphitheater. While parking is on the street, that was not a problem at al. The house updated and everything was very comfortable. The new laundry appliances came worked great to wash our sons ball gear between games. The backyard is private and wondersful. The host was very generous with what they provided. The little things matter, shampoo, towels, cleaning supplies, bedding, coffee maker and kitchen appliances etc. Thank you so much for being such a big part of a great long weekend in Bend!

Had a great time. Just one or two issues/suggestions: 1) I couldn’t get the coffee pot to work. Is there some trick to it? 2) things weren’t especially user-friendly going out the back door. There was no key to lock/unlock the back door from the outside, and if you went out the back gate you had to leave it unlocked. So, when I went out with the bike, I had to take the bike out into the alley, and then go all the way around front, in through the house to lock the back gate and then the back door and go back out the front door. I had to reverse the process coming back. Was I missing something? Was there a key to the back door and away to lock the gate from the outside?

Small classroom two bedroom home. Very well maintained, clean, and comfortable. Eclectic neighborhood that is convenient to downtown area and hiking trips.

Perfect location
The house has a lot of charm, we hung out of the front porch and read our books and had a glass of wine. We used the hot tub a couple of times and sat out on the patio in the evening when it was so hot back there. I don’t think you could find a place so convenient for everything, easy walk to downtown Bend and all its restaurant and easy walk to the riverfront for morning walks and afternoon bike rides. Great grocery just three blocks away
