There are only two bathrooms despite having 5 bedrooms, so keep that in mind. The property seemed to be designed with a “man cave” focus, minus a pool table; large TVs in every room with a grand outdoor kitchen. We could not wait until sunrise to see the beautiful views on top of the mountain. I would caution that a good vehicle is needed to get up to the house...

"This quaint, cozy home was exactly what my family was looking for as a holiday hideout on the coast! We were able to cook, grill, relax, walk, golf, and frequent both the brewery and pizza place nearby (both fantastic). This was our first time in Shelter Cove and it is both remote and beautiful. We loved hearing the ocean roar, watching the deer on their daily visits, and catching beautiful sunsets between rainy days. "We were only here for one night and the weather was too chilly to take a dip in the pool. Parking was close to the guest house/pool. Nicely decorated but it’s small. Fortunately lots of outdoor space! Bed was very comfortable. Nice towels and many toiletries provided. Perfect location if you are looking to tour the Redwoods. Two things that kept me from giving 5 star rating were: there was old coffee(how old?) in the pot and the refrigerator is located outside of the unit and it wasn’t clean."
