"We stayed in the Casita de madera for two months from January to March, i.e. during some of the coldest months of the year. The open fireplace contributes a lot to the cosiness factor but as a heating mechanism is not that efficient, so very glad there was also an electric radiator, which in the coldest weeks was struggling to keep us warm. But it is a very cozy house with everything you need, except an oven. It is dark, especially this time of the year, where the sun does not catch it at all...

"Really relaxing stay in the mountains. The house was really quirky which we all loved & the small pool was perfect in the height of summer. The views from the property are breathtaking. It’s situated in a beautiful white washed town with several cafes / restaurants. Initial issue with access but was quickly resolved by the owner ( who hadn’t been aware of our booking). "I was surprised by the automatic check-in machine, but it went smoothly. The room was very clean and had the most amenities I've ever seen. Surprisingly they provide slippers and a bottle of wine! There was a vacant lot right in front of the hotel, so we didn't have to worry about parking. Since it was a winter stay, we couldn't use the pool. However, in the other seasons there must be even more fulfilling accommodations."

The staff had WhatsApped me a couple of days beforehand asking what time I’d arrive. Really useful to have the number as the reception isn’t manned 24 hours.
