"Everything was wonderful ! Love the amount of pools and jacuzzi they have on first and second floor. The view from the room was amazing ! Few things need to be mentioned for all travelers : #1. They don’t have a bus or taxi service so if you need a ride need to call taxi ! #2. Mondays restaurant is closed so you only able to have sandwich ( nothing too fancy) and you can get drinks at bar ( huge plus). #3. If you reserve a room you get access to the spa , however , they charge 5 euros for hair cover to get into the water and keep an eye on your towel ; if you don’t bring the spa towel you will get charged for 30 euros at check out!! Someone stole mine so I didn’t know there’s a charge , therefore , just fyi . Finally, you can get breakfast in bed delivered ( no extra charge ) . Overall , worth money and worth time spent . 1out 5 I would give 4.5 star because few things mentioned. "

"Bad smell in bathroom. Couldnt adjust heating in the room. Staff barely interested in communication. Awful restaurant. Only a poor set menu while i was there. "

"It was very confusing to find this gem as google maps led us astray a couple of times. However, upon arrival we were greeted by the most wonderful caretakers who were so kind and friendly that all the jet lag melted away. Not only is this accommodation amazing and very cool but Ingrid and her husband are brilliant. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. "

"Beautiful place to spend the night; I was upgraded to the #1 house because of flooding from rain. It’s awesome and cozy. Snacks and fruit on arrival. Castle and such are all right there. I came in January; do plan on bringing food with you as options are closed/limited. "

"Close to Fundao and Covilha this location is perfect for those who like to be surrounded by nature yet close to town. The house is nice, yet rustic. As it mentions it’s off the grid, the house is heated by the fireplace, which is connected to a boiler system that also heats the towel rack and the 2 radiators in the bedrooms. Since we stayed in November that meant we to make a fire every night we came home from touring the area / visiting friends. It was a little more work than expected :). There was an english manual for the property, it was hidden in a drawer so found that the day before we left. Kitchen is simple, if you like to cook, keep your meals simple. Owner is nice and responsive. "

"What a beautiful little hideaway! The design, feel, cleanliness and service made us feel very special during our stay. For a small boutique hotel the breakfast options were not limited and clearly fresh produce. We felt very looked after and would stay again. Obrigada! "
