"The property was nice, but definitely not a 4 star hotel. More like a 3 star. For some reason the first day after we arrived, they didn't clean the room. After we requested for them to clean the room the day after that, they just made the bed, and changed the towels. However, they didn't replenish the soap, nor the toilet paper, nor did they clean the toilet. The property has a lot of potential, but the staff really needs to get their act together. "

"The Kreuz Bern is a short, five minute walk from the SBB Station and two minutes from Bern's main street tram network. Our room was very clean, a good size, well-lit, andthe bedding was very comfortable. There is a connected restaurant which is open late and there is an authentic Italian restaurant right across the street (make reservations). Starbucks is less than one minute away. "Very nice property and staff. Roof deck is also very nice. A little disappointed there was no iron in the room nor air conditioning. Don't really need AC but the hotel is located across from the main square / train station and the noise from the street was very loud with the window open. "

"Honestly this is the best hotel we have stayed in Europe by far! The view is stunning, room is spacious, clean & comfy. They have the most delicious breakfast buffet with very nice and professional staff. Also need to mention the male front desk staff who did check-out process for us was super friendly and even gave us some water and a jam. Small things make hospitality memorable ;) "
