"Resort Bonaire Review – One-Bedroom Apartment During my recent trip to Bonaire, I stayed at Resort Bonaire in a one-bedroom apartment. Overall, the stay was comfortable and well-suited for a dive-focused trip, though there were a few quirks worth noting. Room & Amenities The apartment featured two twin beds, which could be pushed together to form a king. Since I was traveling with a friend, we opted to separate them for added space and comfort. The room itself was clean and functional, with enough storage for our belongings. One of the highlights was the fully equipped kitchen, which included a dishwasher—a great convenience for longer stays. The ability to prepare our own meals was a plus, especially given the limited dining options nearby. One downside, however, was the air conditioning setup. While the bedroom had AC, the living, dining, and kitchen areas did not. This made those spaces noticeably warmer, especially during the day. It would have been nice to have a cooling option for the entire apartment. Dining Option Resort Bonaire offers a single meal each night for a very reasonable price. The catch? You have to get there early because they often sell out. The rotating menu ensures variety, but since there’s only one option per night, it may not suit everyone’s tastes. That said, the convenience and affordability were definite positives. Final Thoughts Resort Bonaire provided a solid stay with comfortable accommodations and useful amenities. The AC limitation "

"Great resort. Was very quiet and clean. Pools and beach were peaceful and well kept. Mark at the KOLÓ bar was great, Passionfruit martini and Margaritas were perfect. Big thanks to Leonie , she Was a huge help with excursions and restaurant choice. Make sure to make reservations early for restaurants and excursions, seem to fill up fast. "

"Comfortable accommodation and as advertised. Bachelor beach 5 min walk is awesome for snorkeling and Blooze hotel has a great outdoor restaurant across from beach. We didn’t spend too much time at pool we went out to beach and travelled island with golf cart. Great small island if you like quiet clean and nice people. Cruise port is so nice to walk around too. "

"Very pleasant and comfortable. I would not recommend a light sleeper using the street-side bedroom. Clothes dryer not working but fortunately the drying rack substituted adequately. Otherwise we loved the location. Excellent snorkeling off the beach. "

"This is truly a villa! Lots of space for everyone to lounge, cook, eat, and relax. Directly on the water, wonderful snorkeling right off deck, great location and the property manager was very responsive and helpful. Everyone in our group enjoyed their stay and appreciated the beauty of Bonaire and this delightful home."

"We are 2, 70 year old scuba divers from Canada, who came here on a diving holiday. We REALLY liked this accommodation. It had 2 spacious bedrooms and a bathroom with walk in shower on the upper floor. Each BR had its own A/C. There was a large shared deck off the master bedroom with a partial view of the ocean. Downstairs had a kitchen/living room, half bath, and a laundry room. It opened up to large shared, shaded patio and a pool. The patio had ample tables and chairs, an honour fridge with very reasonably priced beer, wine and soft drinks. There was also a very well laid out area to rinse and hang to dry our scuba gear. After a day of diving we would rinse and hang our gear, then have a soak in the pool, then sit out on the patio and have a cold beer and share stories with the the other divers. The kitchen was very well equipped and there were 2 outside BBQs. We made the mistake of doing our first grocery run before checking in, only to discover that the unit was much better supplied than most VRBO's and we had bought many items that were already there. Rodney was the perfect VRBO host. He was never intrusive but always readily available and a wealth of information on where and when to dive, restaurants, stores, other activities on the island. He even lent us his underwater camera to use one day and loaded all the pictures on a stick for us. All in all we felt we got GREAT value for our money. Met 4 other groups here and 3 were repeat clients. That says a lot."

"We had a wonderful time. Marion & Berry were there to greet us at the airport and had some things ready in the fridge for us. The pictures are spot on in the listing. Our favorite part was sitting on the patio for coffee in the morning and having the ocean so close. We snorkeled a lot and right in front of the house has plenty to see. Sunset from the sundeck is amazing.House is close to everything you will need. If you want to go out, two nice places are within walking distance. Grocery is close, as is the airport. Air traffic is not an issue and won't bother you at all.The island has plenty to do and the snorkeling is amazing!The owner was quick to respond and helpful with information."
