Beautiful Mansion in need of some improvements
"The mansion is beautiful, with large rooms in the upstairs bedrooms. The 2 bedrooms in the basement were a bit small and a bit Spartan. The fireplace room had 4 remotes, none of which worked the large screen tv, and half of the bedrooms had remotes that did not work the tv's. The kitchen silverware ..."

nice option near stony brook
"stayed here with my parents and 4 other adults to visit my son at stony brook. The house is very clean and well decorated, new kitchen with all the necessary tools. We will stay here again."

Quaint, New England-like town very close to Ho Hum Beach with good restaurants and a really nice community theater: Gateway, where we saw Brookhaven's own resident actor: Isabella Rossellini in her outstanding one-woman (and a dog, trainer) show.
