"With grandparents, parents and children, including one with severe autism, this was an ideal place for our holiday. The property was stunning, the setting beautiful and the pool inviting. Plenty of space for everyone and a lovely secure garden area. The layout of the bedrooms (doubles/singles) wasn’t quite as listed, but we were able to adapt easily enough. "The pictures do not do the property justice, it is stunning, however the decking in front of the main building needs replacing as it is very unsteady to walk on. It did not spoil our stay though and the hosts were very helpful with any message or contact we made to them, including a very early call to say we had lost the gate key to allow us to leave for our ferry, not a word of complaint from them and they tried so hard to help but we eventually located the key. "This is in a retirement complex within walking distance (1km) of the centre of Lisieux. The room we had was good, with a kitchen with Hob and microwave and a dining area. At the weekend the access to the building is by key code and the reception is not manned all the time. Very quiet. The set up seems quite surreal, but actually works well."
