"I found the staff very accommodating despite the language barrier. The view from our room was lovely and the breakfast was great. There were trams , busses, taxis and Gare (trains) very near the hotel. The restaurant Thailand Food WAS INCREDIBLE!! "

"The address on google maps put us way off. Took us an hour to find the hotel. One found, check in was easy. Romm was clean and quiet. We paid extra for parking, but car was secure underground and less distance to haul baggage! Many restaurants across the river in the old area, but some require reservations as they are busy! "

"A lovely hotel with friendly staff and an excellent menu for dining. You need a taxi from the station, but once you are there it is walking distance to everything in this very interesting city. Tourist Information is very helpful too."

"When we booked this place we spent months excited about it and talking about how cool it would be. And then we got there and it lived up to all of our hopes and more! We stayed for a month and never got tired of the amazing view from the castle to the grounds and from the grounds to the castle. We spent hours hiking in the woods and playing kickball on the main lawn. The kitchen is huge and had everything we needed. "This little gem is amazing! We booked it for a last minute stay when we found ourselves in the area and it was getting late and we were tired of driving. What a pleasant surprise! The rooms was absolutely adorable. Loved the attention to detail! It was so clean! We had a really lovely stay and will definitely be back next time we are in the area! "

"Not luxurious, but perfectly good for a one night business stay. Tucked away in a industrial/retail estate. Room was in a delegate block to the reception and breakfast room. Good continental breakfast offering. Would stay again. "

"Very helpful Staff, clean room and public areas, dog firendly, free parking adjacent to the hotel. My personal opinion is that the Dinner and Breakfast costs are too high for a 3* Hotel. The qualioty of food was excellent but as a traveller staying only for 1 night I did not need such expensive meal options. In fact I declined breakfast because of the cost"

Perche farmhouse

"House and surroundings were lovely but wouldn’t sleep 17. We were worried we wouldn’t find enough to do but that wasn’t the case. However, Mele (the nearest town) was a little disappointing as most of the businesses were closed for a few weeks while we were there, in August but we had a lovely stay and the owner was very helpful."

"An excellent place to stay prior to catching the Caen ferry. The hotel was easily accessed, with a large secure parking area Very welcoming with a comfortable room and a good breakfast was available. There is a very large Le Clerc close by with a restaurant which provided a good evening meal and an opportunity to get items to take home. "
