Lakefront home on 1.6 acres

This 1941 built home has all been updated and now has city water. With newer kitchen and granite counters, new carpeting. Hardwood on main floor, 4 bedrooms, 3 up and a single on the main floor. 2 bathrooms . 1 up and 1 down. All appliances are new as well as the washer and dryer. A boat dock has been added on the water with all new stairs down to the dock. Belleville lake is mostly a boating lake. No Beach. This lot has a sandy bottom. Steep incline to the water. Not good for toddlers. Rental boats are available on the lake. Nearby is Metro Park with water slides and lazy river swimming.

Gorgeous Lakeside Home
I stayed here with a couple of friends and our dogs. It was the perfect setting at the end of our long days to relax and enjoy the yard and the view.

Clean & great location
My initial concern was from past reviews about the cleanliness but when I contacted the owner she explained she has a new cleaning lady. I can attest that the new cleaning lady is doing a GREAT job as the entire property was VERY clean. Great location on the lake and owner was very responsive. I highly recommend!

The Lakehiuse
We enjoyed our stay very much. It was in close proximity to the ball fields. The boys enjoyed fishing from the docks. The house was certainly roomy enough and had everything we needed. Would definitely book again if returning to the area.

Rustic look and feel. Beautiful view of the lake from the kitchen dining area. Too bad it was cold - i imagine it would be great to sit at the dock in summer. Prompt and easy communication with the host.

We really enjoyed our extended stay at Whisky Waters. What a great location making it very easy to get to many locations that we needed. We enjoyed watching the University of Michigan Water Ski Team and Row Teams practice on the water at all hours of the day.

Great quiet location
Very dog friendly - our occasionally standoffish dog made a friend with another dog while walking. He loved to watch the ducks and the fishermen. There is a great ‘reading room’ upstairs with a view of the lake. We really enjoyed our relaxing stay. The kitchen is well stocked with new appliances. It felt like every room had a chair with the option to put your feet up.

The home is in a very quiet neighborhood and is as described. It is an older home with a newer kitchen. Great view of lake and even saw a Bald Eagle. This is not a modern home but if your good with that you will be satisfied. Great communication with owner.

Peaceful Setting
Beautiful, peaceful setting with view of the lake on a quiet street. Older home, but functional with ample bedrooms. Kitchen is spacious with updated appliances, but bottom cupboards have slight older home odor. Loved how the home was fully stocked with plenty of towels and linens and all the supplies you need such as dishwasher soap and trash bags and cleaning supplies.

Million Dollar View
We enjoyed our stay on Belleville lake very much. The views from the yard, first and second floor windows were great. It was a bit chilly, but with the sun shinning we sat by the large windows and almost felt we were outside. We enjoyed watching the bald eagles, loons, and other waterfowl on the lake. We also enjoyed watching the crew team each day that launches across the lake. The home is lovely and suited our needs perfectly for our five day stay the beds are extremely comfortable and kitchen is fully equipped with great appliances, including the five burner gas oven. The neighborhood is lovely and very quiet. The 1.6 acre lot would be fun in the summer for games and picnics. We will be back!

Perfect for what we needed
The house was exactly what we needed - a rustic lake cottage located in the middle of family we came to visit. Host graciously accommodated my dogs. House wasn’t the cleanest, but that’s part of the Michigan lake vibes. Perfect for a couple friends to come by and sit in the yard by the campfire looking at the lake view. Stairs to lake were steep as pictured. Not really a swimming lake but good for boats, paddle boards etc. Would recommend.

Excellent except cleanliness
Cleanliness of the property was disappointing to say the least. I recommend the owners fire their housekeeping staffs. Just to mention egregious cleanliness issue- somebody elses dirty socks were under the bed, unwashed dishes in the kitchen, dog pop laying around in the yard, linen not washed. Furniture was old enough that I had to tell my 200lb husband to not sit on some of those chairs/ recliner with the fear of breaking and paying damage fees. Everything else was perfect.

Older home
The kitchen with the view of the lake is the best thing about the property. We brought in the outside patio table to have enough room for everyone to sit, as kitchen table was very small. The living room is small and dark. Enough seating for six. The bathroom upstairs is extremely old and could use updating. Roomy bedrooms upstairs, all with in window air. This lets little flying gnats in. The downstairs bathroom was constantly filled with gnats. If you are ok with an old house, the view is very nice.

Nice spot to look out over the water
House was clean. Easy to get to. Front screen door was missing it's screen. We just left it open. Top bathroom shower had no hot water. We used first floor. Whole place is well water so it definitely carries a strong odor. The well water also made the tub look gross. 😬 We did enjoy looking out at the water. It is quite a trip down so if you have mobility issues beware. Bedrooms were nice sized and not difficult to get comfortable in. Window unit ac kept us cool but we had to leave the doors open. My spouse marveled at the carpet leading upstairs. We also couldn't get master bedroom TV to work. But it was quiet and we did enjoy our visit.
