"The house was great the yard was great wished we weren’t so rushed and had the time to enjoy the surroundings. The upstairs shower was on the small side, thin walls so depends on who you are sharing the upstairs with they will hear you and front bedroom you can hear the road very well. We had long days so able to sleep through it after the first night. This is a great country house. "

"The gatehouse was amazing. We loved the hiking trails, the grounds, and the location. Campfires were super easy by the lounge. We loved being super close to so much great hiking! We would stay here again in a heartbeat."

"We loved a lot of things about this house. The backyard is beautiful. We enjoyed the firepit and gazebo every night. We loved that the house is nice and spacious. There is enough room for everyone with 8 beds. Kids enjoyed the bunkbeds. The kitchen is nice and spacious and has a big countertop for cooking your own meals which we did all the days we were there. The location is Fantastic to Elephant Rocks State Park, Johnson Shut Ins and Taum Mountain State Park! The downfalls were the Asian...

"This was our second time staying at this location. Everything you need within a 10 minute drive; food , coffee, restaurants and shopping. All the activities we did were 30 minutes to an hour away... Swing Around Funtown Critter Lane Petting Zoo St. Louis Zoo Wedding was in Bloomdale Overall everything was great. The only thing we couldnt find was the high chair for the baby. "

"This little place had everything you needed and more.... Record player and records, DVD and DVDs, Games. Where do you get those things in a motel?? You just don't...And the whole stay was just awesome. Please put up blinds so that the sun doesn't reflect on the TV so much... "We stayed in hideaway 1 for an event in the area. It was spacious for our needs. Way roomier than w hotel room and ideal if you have children that need a separate space. The property had everything we needed (and forgot) including shampoo a hair dryer and complimentary coffee. My only recommendation would be to find a space for a full size mirror. I would definitely stay here again. "
