"This is one of my best travel experiences. I’ve recommended this as a to-go hotel to my friends with travel plans to Detroit. The owner renovated the historic house with every single design and furniture reflecting the 19th century originals. Frederick Stearns’ story as a pharmaceutical entrepreneur is also inspiring. "This was our fourth stay. At this point, Rica and Cina feel like extended family. Why stay in hotel when you can experience a historical Detroit mansion that has been lovingly updated and remodeled. Walk to any sporting / music event and wake up the best breakfast ever. 100 stars. "

"Our room was spacious and clean. The parking spot was right next to our room. The inn's location is nice, close to downtown. Founders Brewing is also close by. We felt safe. The icing on the cake was Mona's hospitality. She was always available and willing to please. Her breakfasts were delicious. Lots to do in Detroit. We'll be back."
