"El Moore Lodge was everything! The BEST experience staying in Detroit, far better than any chain hotel. Stunning views, unique room, unbelievably safe, quaint, amazing staff made us feel like VIPs, an adorable grocery store/deli literally in the same yard, walking distance to food and bars...I could go on and on. Surely hope to come back again soon! "

"An incredible place to stay! The hosts are so welcoming and they made the best breakfasts. The home is very cozy, luxurious and it's nearby everything. Would definitely recommend!"

"Stunning spot close to downtown! Felt like we were sleeping in an art gallery in the best possible way. Bed was great, location was super quiet. Free off street parking and coffee in the morning downstairs. You can walk about 15 mins to West Village if you want something more substantial. "

"The unit was adorable, very spacious, and modern! However, there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher and items left in the refrigerator, I’m guessing from the last occupants, which was surprisingly odd. Parking is expensive, but it’s Downtown Detroit, so that was pretty much expected. But everything is within walking distance, so that’s a plus! Overall, my stay was pretty decent. I will reserve in the future! "

"overall the room was nice and fitted our needs. the downside was that upon arrival i noticed the trash in the washroom was not cleaned out and the duvet cover was stained with a white substance. since it was late when i arrived i had to sleep in a bed with dirty sheets and no duvet. they were quick to respond and attempt to fix this. however the cleaner only dropped off a plastic bad of bedding. no duvet cover and the trash was not cleaned out. eventually after lots of back and first with...

"The Shinola hotel was amazing. We received an upgrade upon arrival at no extra charge, as I had prepaid already. The room was spacious and the shower was great. I enjoyed making coffee in the morning. Of course I brought my own. We would come back in a heartbeat."
