A private, wooded and secluded log cabin that is furnished with native rustic decor, turn-key and affordable to the ambitious traveler. The cabin is located near the town of Bellaire and is just 5-minutes from SHANTY CREEK RESORTS. The area offers some of the finest skiing, snowboarding, snowmobile trails, hiking, hunting, golfing, boating and fishing in the State of Michigan. The area is close to Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and Mackinac Island as well as many other local attractions. SHANTY CREEK RESORTS offers something for everyone and can be a year-round destination. Many amenities are provided to offer you a wonderful vacation experience. Special note to golfers: There are nine regulation golf courses within 5 miles and others are within 20 minutes. The cabin is also provided with central heating & air conditioning. *Professionally cleaned & sanitized prior to each and every guest. You will also have pool and hot tub access at the Lakeview Hotel and Schuss Mountain.

Beautiful Cabin

The cabin was immaculately clean and located in a beautifully wooded landscape. The host was available to answer any questions throughout the entire process. My partner and I had an incredibly tune and highly recommend this location for a carefree, nature filled getaway.

Perfect little cabin in the woods!

Cute little cabin in the woods. We loved the wrap around porch, especially with a little one. We could be out there and not worry with it all blocked off. Was everything you needed there, not fancy but functional and the perfect up north vibes! We enjoyed our stay!

We enjoyed our stay in the cabin - very cozy with the fireplace. Highly recommend. Owners are very nice and responsive. The cabin is in the woods so not a lot of sunlight.

Cozy Cabin

This cabin was absolutely perfect! So cozy and cute. Loved the wrap around deck with all the trees surrounding us. Very private. Loved the fireplace, had it going every morning and night. Comfortable beds and nice big bathroom. Kitchen had everything we needed. Basically just ate breakfast there. The host were extremely easy and super friendly to communicate with. Would definitely stay here again!! Didn’t want to leave!

We stayed for a week in this fabulous place with our fur babies. The owner was great with everything.....directions, where to go, everything! This house has everything from a keurig to a awesome grill. We loved the area lots of outdoor activities around the area. We would love to come back soon. Completely recommend this place and owner.

Centrally located to many hiking trails

The property was as it stated. It was very clean with a bedroom on the main floor along with the only bathroom. Upstairs was oodles of places to sleep. It was just my husband and myself so we didn’t need to use the upstairs. There is a very nice hiking path and river by the road that you take to enter the housing area. We didn’t need to make contact with the owner as everything worked as it should. I would recommend this house to others

delightful cabin in the woods.

Nice and quiet spot to unplug and unwind. No wifi and limited tv but that's the point. Inside the cabin was well stocked minus wine glasses. Cabin was highlighted by a Ms PacMan game. Clean inside. Porch furniture needed a wipe down before using. Overall, we would return and we enjoyed our stay. Owner was attentive and easy to communicate with.

Beautiful Cabin

Beautiful cabin surrounded by woods. Very quiet little to no traffic. No internet however we made it work. You will want to bring your own DVD’s if you have a certain taste in movies. Make sure to bring coffee with you. One packet was provided. Nice cookware. For anyone who needs a soft mattress they are firm. 😊. Wonderful stay!! Recommend!

Perfect northern getaway🌲 🏊‍♂️ ⛱️ 🚣‍♂️

The home was stocked with everything we needed, i.e, pots pans, dishes, cups, baking ware, keurig, baking sheets, plenty of linens, blankets, pillows, additional chairs on front porch if needed. It was clean upon our arrival, & decorated very nice too. We loved how we only had 3 neighbors around, but not very close, plenty of seating indoors and out. The huge porch was a hit, firepit, gas fireplace indoors, the loft was perfect for the kids, and it was so nice that their was a washer and dryer stack unit in the bathroom. The owner seamlessly expedited our checkin, and clearly responded to any questions we had prior to our stay & rules for the home.. If you are looking for a cozy log cabin home to rent that is shaded completely by trees, and is quiet, yet super close to Bellair, this is a gem. Thank you John!
