New home with lake side lower-level entry apartment, Near Buckingham Trail head

This apartment and home were constructed last year. Plenty of off-street parking is available.

The lower level, which you will be staying in, was built with no connecting access to the upper level. It has its own private entry and key, with plenty of windows overlooking Lake Ann. There is also a fully functional kitchen with pots and pans if you would like to cook. There is one bedroom with a queen bed, and the living room has a large couch two people can sleep on, and a double bed can be provided if you prefer.

Tram access to the lake included, where you can swim, kayak, or canoe, with life jackets available. There is a space for a campfire, however, please be cautious and make sure the fire is extinguished before returning on the tram. Note: the pontoon is NOT part of the rental of this VRBO.

We are only a seven-minute walk away from the Buckingham Trailhead Back Forty Trail, which is a great walking or biking trail.

This property was great, and had everything we needed! Views of Lake Ann were beautiful. This is a downstairs unit on a two story home, the owners living upstairs. But it had a separate entrance and was quiet and private. The owners Jim and Jae were very hospitable and treated us like family. There is a tram that goes down to the lake, it was a fun ride.

Cozy lake house getaway with spectacular views
WOW, great views of the lake. This place is close to hiking trails and kayaks are available on the property. The atmosphere is serene--so peaceful. A great couple getaway! Neat, clean, recently built---the beds are super amazing. Couldn't ask for better hosts!!! They truly have the gift of hospitality!

Weekend with a view.
We very much enjoyed the property. The view of the lake from the bedroom is beautiful. The tram down to the lake was fun and we enjoyed getting to see some wild life while were there. The seclusion, and privacy was wonderful for a getaway from the city, and being only a quick drive from so many attractions in Bentonville made for plenty of activities when we weren’t relaxing at the house.

Awesome property on the lake
The property is new with plenty of space, a great view of the lake, and very nice furnishings. It was extremely clean and conveniently located. The owners are on site and very responsive to any questions I had. Couldn't have chosen a better place.

Great weekend
Myself and my son stayed for the memorial day weekend. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. We had access to Lake Ann. Just a beautiful place to stay for a weekend or entire week. Close to restaurants activities in the area. Highly recommend!!

We stayed here for a night with our two boys. The place is beautiful right on the lake with views along the whole suite. It is a brand new property with all the amenities you would need for your stay. The hosts are very kind and available to answer any questions. We will definitely be back when we have more time!!

Everything about our experience here was phenomenal! Gracious hosts, spectacular views, the tram to the water, the apartment, there was six of us in total, myself and the hubby, two grandsons, son and nephew. We all enjoyed the place and amenities. We are looking forward to a trip here sometime soon just me and my husband. I would highly recommend this.

My husband and I Love Jim and Jae's place! This was our second time here, it definitely wont be our last. They are the most gracious hosts that you will ever encounter. Amazing location and great setup. Hosts were great people - let us do our thing but also available if needed. The location was great - Back 40 trail system right around the corner I rode my bike to. The views of the lake are just as nice as you’d hope. Once the surrounding foliage fills in, it’ll be even prettier this spring. Would recommend. Plan to be back.

This property was wonderful and perfect for us!!! We loved everything about it from the moment we arrived and met the hosts until we left. The accommodations were excellent! The view from our balcony was amazing. We had everything we needed to make out stay perfect. It was exceptionally clean and quiet. We went biking and kayaking and came back after our adventures and totally relaxed!! We will definitely be back! It was one of the BEST places we have stayed!!! The hosts were gracious, accommodating and made sure we were well taken care of and gave us all the privacy we needed!!

Anniversary Weekend
This was an excellent stay for our 3 day anniversary weekend. Jim and Jae have thought of everything. We took some day trips to Eureka Springs and Fayetteville. There are plenty of great restaurants in the area. We also used the kitchen and grill for a few meals. The tram to the lake is easy to use. The location is secluded and relaxing with great view of the lake, but still close enough to the main highways if you want to shop or see the sights. We use VRBOs as much as possible when traveling and this is one of our best experiences. Other reviews mentioned the firmness of the mattress - it was perfect for us.

Beautiful Lake Vacation
This was a great location for a short vacation on the lake. Easy access to kayaking and hiking and the lake is very secluded and not very busy. The home was easy to find and very clean. The owners live in the upstairs portion of the home so they are very accessible and interactive. You can hear a lot of noise between floors so if you're looking for complete privacy this may not be the best fit for you. You can view the lake from every window so wonderful views and wildlife right outside your door. The beds were a little too firm for our liking but that's just personal preference. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at this property.

We had a last min issue with another rental and book this place. I sent a question to host and was contacted immediately. They were flexible with check in. They meet us when we arrived and walked us through the area and everything about the apartment. They checked on us to make sure if we needed anything. The kitchen was brand new. Bed was firm but comfortable. Bathroom was great. The lake was beautiful, honestly the pictures don't give it justice. Can't wait to come back. Don't pass up this little gem

Could not have been a better choice!
We had a fabulous time! Jim and Jae are such amazing hosts, very accommodating without ever being too attentive. The space is in top shape, brand new and beautiful, and large for a 1-bedroom. It fit our three-person family trip perfectly. The neighborhood is easy to get around and has lots of amenities. It might be a bit rough for someone with mobility issues to get in and out, but we had no problems at all. The apartment and house are high up on a cliff with gorgeous views. The tram to the lake is such fun and really takes the work out of getting down to the water level. The boat was our favorite part of the stay too, thanks so very much for allowing us to use it! Will recommend to anyone wanting a lake trip or a base to explore NWA/SWMO/Elk River floating.

Great Location
We stayed at this one year old property with our two teenage boys, 13 and 15. Everything is very clean and the space feels roomy for a one bedroom. The home is lake front with views of water from every window. There is a four person tram that takes you down to the water. There you will find a boat dock, deck, and a natural seating area with fire pit. They have a few kayaks and one canoe for your use free of charge. The home is five minutes from a grocery store, restaurants, fast food, etc. The nearby cities of Bentonville, Rogers, and Fayetteville are also just minutes away and easy to get to with very little traffic. We spent our time in NWA boating, ziplining, mountain biking, fishing, and four wheeling. All of these activities were within 20-60 minutes of this property. Jim and Jae are great hosts and a very caring couple. They made our stay very successful! We would definitely stay here again.

Best three days ever!
We arrived to find the property even better than described. The view of the beautiful lake was a central feature, but the apartment was large, almost new, and spotlessly clean. There was a rather steep slope to negotiate, but our hosts made sure that we were able to safely access the area, helping with luggage.
