This place was right on the water, and the dock and porches were nice. Unfortunately, we stayed in a much better place last year, so we knew what we were missing with this one.
Right off the bat, we had a hard time finding sheets for the fold-out bed and there weren't any pillows for it so we had to use couch pillows. There weren't enough extra blankets, and the downstairs area (bedroom, bathroom, living room with fold-out bed) stayed cold even with the heater on. The floors were super squeaky, so if you were staying in one of the downstairs beds, it's impossible to sleep if people upstairs are walking around. The kitchen was missing a lot of things we needed. Very few drinking glasses (no plastics at all for kids to use), not enough plates, hardly any measuring cups/spoons, no whisk, very few serving utensils, very little baking dishes, and very few pots and pans. We felt very crippled trying to cook full meals. Also, the dishwasher was broken so we had to wash everything by hand. There were multiple lights out and bug poop of some of the light bulbs, and the downstairs TV didn't work. There were several sliding glass doors and almost none of them had a working lock, so we had to use a piece of wood to "lock" them which was kind of annoying. And the dining table is all barstool seating which was very uncomfortablr. Overall, it was convenient being so close to the water, but the cons definitely outweigh the pros. We won't be staying here again.
