"We are coming to this hotel every year for our vacation. Great place, rooms are nice , spacious and clean. Breakfast amazing, delicious large area to accommodate everyone. "I suspect this is a totally refurbished Communist-era hotel but it has been refurbished magnificently. It is just over the river from the Central Park and just below the wooded Belvedere, creating a quiet, almost non-urban setting. It is an easy 10 minute walk to all the sights in Cluj and there is a bus stop with a goodconnection to the train station just beside the main entrance. Breakfast was sumptuous and generous too."

"The cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in! We weren’t sent the room entry codes ahead of time but a quick call to the manager fixed that and he sent them right away. The location is perfect - within walking distance to a lot of main attractions. The only downside is there is no dedicated parking and areas around the hotel are hard to find. "

"My room looked rather dated and the fact that the reception already closed at 7pm wasn't great, but it was one of the cheapest offers in this part of Cluj. A load party right under my window kept me up one night."

"Niice very modern renovation of an older (19th century?) building, right off a main boulevard 5 minutes away from just about everything you'd want to see in Cluj. Staff is friendly and helpful, my room was adequate for the price and breakfast was generous and tasty. Only 2 quibbles. 1. skimpy pillow. 2. no way to adjust heat/cooling in room and in the course of 4 days in mid-October, one would have need of both."
