Rain, Snow or Sunshine we would love for you to spend your visit to Montana in our guest house. If your visiting Montana you already know it is a great place to be any season. So, whether you're visiting Montana for leisure, fishing, hunting, rodeo, kayaking, boating, skiing, snowmobiling, golfing or just passing through our beautiful state we have the perfect little guest house by the river that will allow access to all these activities and more. We are an hour or less drive to your favorite activity. Check in time is 4:00 p.m., Check out time is 11:00 a.m. (Unless other arrangements have been made with us)
Our guest house is nestled in the Gallatin Valley within steps from the East Gallatin River which runs through our property. We offer free WiFi, fully equipped kitchen, front deck and a BBQ gas grill, parking is right in front of guest house. We're 6 miles north of Bozeman, 45 minutes from Big Sky and just one hour from Yellowstone National Park.
This little gem is located out in the country on a working farm, so you're truly exposed and can experience living on a genuine Montana farm. Wake up to nature's sounds and nestle into a cozy bed in the evening. Prepare your favorite meals in our charming fully equipped kitchen. While relaxing on our log cabin deck you can enjoy the gorgeous views of the Bridger Mountains or take a walk along the river. Very often a few White Tail Deer, Canada Geese and other waterfowl walk or fly through the land. Don't be surprised if an occasional friendly bunny or robin stops by.
We offer tours of the farm where we grow crops such as alfalfa, wheat, orchard grass, barley and peas. You can visit our friendly critters which consist of alpacas, one great white pyrenees ( Laramie), our chickens, sheep, cows and of course our yellow lab Cheyenne and her little buddy Cody. You can take a tour of the iconic Dairy Barn and parlor which is now a home for our Alpacas and during lambing season our Ewes. If season allows you can experience how the crops are grown, maintained and harvested if interested.
You can fish the East Gallatin River which is steps away from the guest house. Enjoy many activities such as fishing, hiking, skiing, Bozeman Hot Springs, Chico or Norris Hot Springs, hunting, horse back riding, Yellowstone National Park, Big Sky Ski Resort, downtown Bozeman's restaurants, museums, live theater. During summer and fall months enjoy our live Music on Main Street or Shakespeare in the Park.
If you are traveling and need a place to board your horse we can accommodate you. We accept up to two horses and have plenty of room to park your horse trailer. (Prior Arrangements should be made) There are also several riding arenas nearby.
Our little guest house is perfect for a couple and can sleep up to three people.
