River Ranch Guest House right next to the East Gallatin River

Rain, Snow or Sunshine we would love for you to spend your visit to Montana in our guest house. If your visiting Montana you already know it is a great place to be any season. So, whether you're visiting Montana for leisure, fishing, hunting, rodeo, kayaking, boating, skiing, snowmobiling, golfing or just passing through our beautiful state we have the perfect little guest house by the river that will allow access to all these activities and more. We are an hour or less drive to your favorite activity. Check in time is 4:00 p.m., Check out time is 11:00 a.m. (Unless other arrangements have been made with us)

Our guest house is nestled in the Gallatin Valley within steps from the East Gallatin River which runs through our property. We offer free WiFi, fully equipped kitchen, front deck and a BBQ gas grill, parking is right in front of guest house. We're 6 miles north of Bozeman, 45 minutes from Big Sky and just one hour from Yellowstone National Park.

This little gem is located out in the country on a working farm, so you're truly exposed and can experience living on a genuine Montana farm. Wake up to nature's sounds and nestle into a cozy bed in the evening. Prepare your favorite meals in our charming fully equipped kitchen. While relaxing on our log cabin deck you can enjoy the gorgeous views of the Bridger Mountains or take a walk along the river. Very often a few White Tail Deer, Canada Geese and other waterfowl walk or fly through the land. Don't be surprised if an occasional friendly bunny or robin stops by.

We offer tours of the farm where we grow crops such as alfalfa, wheat, orchard grass, barley and peas. You can visit our friendly critters which consist of alpacas, one great white pyrenees ( Laramie), our chickens, sheep, cows and of course our yellow lab Cheyenne and her little buddy Cody. You can take a tour of the iconic Dairy Barn and parlor which is now a home for our Alpacas and during lambing season our Ewes. If season allows you can experience how the crops are grown, maintained and harvested if interested.

You can fish the East Gallatin River which is steps away from the guest house. Enjoy many activities such as fishing, hiking, skiing, Bozeman Hot Springs, Chico or Norris Hot Springs, hunting, horse back riding, Yellowstone National Park, Big Sky Ski Resort, downtown Bozeman's restaurants, museums, live theater. During summer and fall months enjoy our live Music on Main Street or Shakespeare in the Park.

If you are traveling and need a place to board your horse we can accommodate you. We accept up to two horses and have plenty of room to park your horse trailer. (Prior Arrangements should be made) There are also several riding arenas nearby.

Our little guest house is perfect for a couple and can sleep up to three people.

Beautiful property and gorgeous sunsets! We enjoyed watching the peacocks, alpacas and being greeted by Shiloh (the dog)! It had everything we needed for a two night stay.

absolutely fantastic

Our stay was absolutely fantastic and the property was filled with life! The peacocks and alpaca's were an absolute delight to watch. The farm was far enough away from Bozeman to get out of the noise/people, yet close enough to drive into town for good food. We will definately be booking this location in the future.

Best Cabin Stay

We had an amazing 5 days in Belgrade / Bozeman. We got to meet some of the farm animals and get cozy in our cabin with spectacular view of the mountains from porch. Highly recommended. We will be back for sure!

Great spot with comfort, views and nature

We love staying here, the kitchen and cabin were fully stocked. The bed was comfortable. There was a great front porch and also an area out on the grass to look at the views. We really enjoyed the alpacas, peacocks, rooster, and Shiloh, the dog, the host and hostess were very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful guest house

Although we only stayed one night, we loved this little guest house. The view was lovely and the alpacas were friendly. Although we did not eat them, the farm eggs were a nice touch. Home was very clean and comfortable.

Close to Airport

This property was the perfect stay for last minute trip to Bozeman. It is super convenient and close to the airport which was nice. It was a short 20 minute drive to downtown Bozeman and the Museum of the Rockies. We even drove the 1.5 hours down to Yellowstone twice. This is a wonderful spot for a couple especially if you are flying into Bozeman.

Wonderful country setting and amazing hosts

This is an adorable space. There was a mix up on the Vrbo listing and we thought there was a hot tub but it turns out it was a mistake. However, the hosts were so kind and got us passes to the Bozeman hot springs!! It was an amazing experience and we will definitely book with them when we return!

Paradise on the farm

This is a wonderful place to stay. The owners are great. The property is on a working farm. They have alpacas ( as they love carrots), a few cattle, chickens and dogs. A beautiful trout stream is behind the barn. The cabin is georgous and has everything need. It is close enough to Bozeman airport, close to Belgrade and only @9 miles to Bozeman. Cannot say enough good things about staying here. We stayed twice!

Absolutely Perfect

We loved the Guest House. It was so quiet and peaceful. Its really close to the airport but we never heard any planes. The animals are so cute but the property is gorgeous. Fresh eggs and coffee made for a great breakfast. And you could get to anywhere you needed in no time. It felt like you were so far out and secluded but close to town. It was perfect for us!! Although we didn't get to meet the owners ( or their dog) they replied very quickly to messages. I couldn't have asked for a better stay!

We loved our stay at River Ranch Guest House!

Our stay at the River Ranch Guest House was brief (overnight stay) but fantastic! The hosts were extremely accommodating and friendly. The working ranch was fascinating for those who love animals (like we do). There are alpacas, steer, cows, sheep, and adorable dogs to name a few (peacocks are arriving the day we left). The property also has a river and fabulous views of the mountains. An added benefit is that this slice of paradise is a 10-15 minute ride away from the airport, so it's super convenient for travelers without all the noise associated with an airport. The guest house was very clean and beautifully decorated. It is perfect for two to three travelers with the bed and sleep sofa located in the same room. The TV, internet and other appliances worked perfectly. We loved our stay and we'll certainly come back again when visiting Bozeman. Thank you so very much for having us!

It was a paradise. It's close enough to town and restaurants...but far enough away to be totally relaxing. The guest house is cozy. The bathroom is TINY...but we were able to make it work. NO AC...yikes! But it cools off so nice at night that it was delightful. We didn't cook...but the kitchen was nice. It was so relaxing sitting on the porch...or next to the alpaca field. The peacock and pea hens were a hoot to watch. The owners were really great!
