"This was a perfect, toasty warm, place for family to stay over the Christmas holiday. The open floor plan on the first floor is wonderful for communicating. The one year old enjoyed walking around this area. We enjoyed the big dinning table for meals, board games, and wrapping gifts. The beds were very comfortable. Two of the bedrooms have a water view in winter! The property managers are exceptionally attentive. They went above and beyond coming first thing in the morning to shovel snow!"

"This place is very clean and the rooms are large. I enjoyed the walk down to the water, which is close by. Kitchen was well stocked. I, too, felt a railing on the stairs would be helpful. I am new to the Vacasa connection, so that took some learning, but all went well. "

"Peregrine House is situated on a quiet road in a peaceful location with a lovely view of the bay and gorgeous sunsets. There is easy access to the town of Castine and the house is a short walk to the beach where we enjoyed swimming. The house was well-equipped. The beds and living area were comfortable. Mary Lou was responsive to our questions and needs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"Conveniently located near MMA. Nicely equipped, clean house. So appreciate that the house is pet friendly. Sometimes worry that pet friendly places will smell like dog ( pet friendly hotel rooms are the worst). Not this house. Very well maintained. Yard and rocky beach are beautiful. Very easy check-in. Loved the back deck, stargazing at night was beautiful. Lots of wildlife; saw deer every evening and an eagle. Thank you for a great family stay. "

We prepared a lot of our own meals, and the kitchen was well-equipped for our needs. The home was in the just-right location for our explorations of Midcoast and Down East Maine."

"A really cool, cute, cozy cottage. Well maintained. Kitchen is stocked with everything you need. Owner couldn't be nicer or more welcoming. Welcome brochure explains most any questions you would have. Beautiful area, breathtakingly beautiful sunsets over Belfast Harbor. The furniture and bedding is very comfy. Stairs for those with mobility issues, and just one (really nice bath). A good value."

"Needs a sign stating the house number. We drove back and forth for 1/2 hour looking for address to house. Also needs more plates and new pans for cooking. They are rusted."

"Our stay was perfect and we wouldn’t change a thing. Plenty of space as far as bedrooms and bathrooms go. So much common space to enjoy a fire, meals, and outdoor space. The beach is very wide during low tide and an added perk. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. We can’t wait to plan a return trip."
