"Difficult to tell if it is called The Hotel Portas da Amazonas or Acorte. Situated next to the cathedral and near the fort. Within walking distance of Docas (markets water trips and eating) but out of the main city. We were told to take extreme care if out walking at night. Breakfast finished at 9. The first morning we arrived at 8.45 and all the hot food had gone but scrambled egg eventually turned up. Arrived at 8 the next morning and cooked food arrived at 8.45 and this was a Monday. The...
