"The property was a short walk from the airport. It was amazingly quiet, clean and large comfortable rooms, great shower. I wasn't that impressed with the cooked breakfast, I was down to just toast on the last morning, despite this, I would definitely stay there again"

"Clean,modern rooms. Good choice of breakfast options. Surprised this is rated as only 2 star as more like a UK 3 star e.g Travelodge. Only comment I would make is that the rooms were slightly too warm in April as the air system was still producing heat rather than air conditioning . This was remidied by being able to open the window for fresh air. You can exit from the Gara De Nord metro station from exits D,E which are less than 100 m from the hotel, and avoid the busy part of the station "

"This is a first class hotel. Its a gorgeous property. The rooms a large and well appointed. The bed and bedding is outstanding. The downside is being in Bucharest presents challenges for outdoor activities. Its not particularly close to the downtown. A few minutes by taxi but not very walkable. The area around the hotel has limited entertainment. Food and beverage on the property are on the high side. "

"Perfect spot for Bucharest trip! The hotel was spacious and bright, we slept well and especially appreciated the size of the bathroom. The best thing about this hotel is its location, right on the edge of Old Town meaning it was perfect for early morning breakfast at Van Gogh cafe round the corner, late night drinks in the busy streets after dinner at nearby Caru' cu bere, seeing churches and museums and easy for taxis to go out to Therme. Would highly recommend!"

"It is a beautiful building that was once a grand bank. It has great amenities, including a cocktail bar in the former vault, and a pool and spa. Very lovely, friendly staff too. A few properties nearby are undergoing renovation, but don't let that put you off.Some local cafes for breakfast just outside and the 'old town' is minutes away."
