"Wonderful hotel! We expected a room with three beds, but were pleasantly surprised to receive a suite with two bedrooms! Spacious bathroom with a huge bathtub. Very close to Schipol and free airport shuttle. "

"This place was perfect!! It is very close to the train station and very close to the grocery store! The staff was so amazing and very helpful!! The food at the restaurant in the hotel was so good! The rooms were very clean and everything it felt very safe because you have to scan your room key to get to your specific floor and then scan your room key again to get into the hallway of your hotel room!! 10/10 and will most definitely be staying with Volkshotel on my next trip to Amsterdam and would also recommend it to everyone going to Amsterdam! "

"Had a really nice stay at this hotel before our early morning flight. The rooms felt spacious and clean. The restaurant downstairs was very convenient. Only negative is that they switched all service at the restaurant to on your phone, which can be difficult for people that aren’t very technologically savvy. "

"Rooms were nice and big. Clean and comfortable. Service was excellent. Early check-in requires a fee with a rate of €10 per hour. There's a park nearby with a goat farm but it takes a while to walk there due to lack of more direct access. No allocated walkways to the park though. Only a bicycle track. The Albert Heijn store was way too small with too little items for sale. A recommended hotel for a short stay. "
