"Very cosy feel away from tourist crowds. liked that it was in the middle of the Ring of Kerry drive, 2 beaches close by - our favourite was OCaroll's cove as suggested by Evelyn. Evelyn and her husband were very welcoming and accommodating. Enjoyed our stay. Wished we could have spent more time. We will surely visit again"

"We had a great week at Bedrock cottage, we were able to easily access the Beara Peninsula as well as other magnificent parts of the Ring of Kerry. We especially enjoyed The Reeks and cycling on the roads in the area. The tearooms at Lord Brandon's cottage were really great (cash only). We had a fantastic time."

"Mostly comfortable. A bit cold. Not sure if 6 people would be comfortable. Paying for electric at the end is unusual. Remote and very rural. Beautiful surroundings. One of the showers is really good. Kitchen is mostly well equipped. Not sure if i would stay there again. Local bar is really friendly. Good for local touring."

This place is comfortable and the facilities are completely on a high standard. Most important is to mention, that Kate is an awesome host: We had several problems, where we needed support and Kate was incredibly helpful! Also Valentia Island is the perfect spot for family holiday, cause there is so much to do in the closer sorroundings and Knightstown is...
