"Had a lovely week staying at The Old Dairy. Property was beautiful with everything we needed. My children (aged 3 & 6) very much enjoyed exploring the gardens and swinging on the tyre swing plus it was great for my older parents too who enjoyed sitting in the courtyard with their dog! Great location for visiting Bath and Longleat. Plus plenty of walks in the immediate area. Would definitely return. Owner incredibly helpful and easy to contact."

"We had another lovely stay at the Lower Mill estate. Kids enjoyed the watersports, bike rentals, swimming and tennis and the independence of having it all within easy access. The cottage was a good space for the 2 families - 2 mums, 4 kids with a well stocked kitchen. It was a little dusty as nobody had stayed for awhile, which did also mean a lot of quite large spiders. Probably inevitable as you are so near the water but they were some of the biggest I have ever seen or had to deal with!"

"We had the most amazing stay at Tumbledown Cottage! The views are outstanding and the cottage itself is perfect for a relaxing stay. We found everything we needed in the kitchen to cook up great local produce from the many farm shops Isla kindly recommended- enjoying the view while we ate in the conservatory. "Lower Mill Estate has a wonderful network of paths and trails around some of the most beautiful lakes in the Cotswolds. Having now stayed here for nearly two months between sellling and buying a new property I know most of the area really well. It is wonderful to see many different species of birds and water fowl and to know about the beaver project - although sadly I never actually saw a beaver. The Ballyhoo also provided much needed coffee on occasions and was always welcoming."

We arrived early and Catherine said we could go straight to the cottage, ( which with a 2 and half year old) saved us having to find somewhere to hang around for a couple of hours. "My son and I used this as headquarters to visit some historic sites and relax before long travel home to US. It was a tight space but fully equipped and adequate for everything we needed. Nice hiking trails right outside the door. Beautiful setting. Owners were very nice and accommodating."
