"We really enjoyed our stay but found the cleaning timetable below expectations. We like to relax after lunch but our room was not cleaned until after 3pm which meant that we had to arrange our activities around the hotel schedule rather than the other way round. When we asked there appeared to be no flexibility in the cleaning schedule ."

It was not warm enough to sit in the garden but in warmer weather there were plenty of tables outside in a nice spacious garden. Hotel is situated away from the centre of whitby but is very handy for the park & ride bus service which works out much cheaper than using the town car parks. "

"It was ok. The hotel will not suit everyone. The webpage is misleading. No pool, no games room, no bar no dining room. No lounge no conservatory access. My room was fine, it had four beds. All very basic. No heating, it was chilly for april. An electric vector heater provided. It had everything I needed. Kettle, hot water, shower, nice view. I reckon it is also transit accomodation for asylum seekers and/or refugees. Which was fine for me. No noise, in fact I saw very few people. No staff at...

"We had an executive room, which was a fantastic size. There was a lounge area, a good size desk, bathroom had a bath with a powerful shower and the bed was extremely comfortable. There was a minibar in the room, an ironing board and iron and reasonable wardrobe space if you were staying for any period of time. "Debbie was an amazing host, she went above and beyond nothing was too much. She informed us of everything about the area and what things there is to do locally. The room was clean and very well presented. I would highly recommend!"
