"This is a beautiful hotel just a short walking distance to central Verona. Our room felt newly renovated. It was bright and tastefully done. On our 2 week trip, we had been staying mostly in apartment rentals. This was a welcome break. I wish we could have stayed longer. "

"I spent 3 nights in the Surf Room & I cannot recommend it highly enough. This guesthouse is a haven especially after sightseeing all day. The room is spacious, clean, comfortable, quiet & nicely decorated. Windows open to the garden courtyard so it was quiet & nice view. Kettle, fridge & TV is always great when travelling solo. "Stayed in a room with a nice quiet balcony. This was the perfect place in my opinion, just far enough to be away from the crowds but a ~5 min walk to the old town and sites. Good places to eat within steps. Breakfast was simple but good. Eggs, ham, croissant, etc. The last day I had an early train and sandwiches were left in my fridge to take with in the am. If I come back to Verona, I would stay here without considering other options. "

"The check in staff was nice and friendly. The antico residence hotel is under ABC hotel so go to ABC hotel instead. The location is good near train station and city center but if your room window is facing the station then you have to close the window all the time to avoid noise. The room is basic, okay clean and okay comfortable but the dark red bed cover don’t look appealing. The shower drain is not just slow running, it’s totally clogged. "Betty’s House….what an amazing B&B. It’s a hidden gem. Rooms are lovely, clean and spacious with a beautiful balcony overlooking the garden/pool area. Breakfast was fab. Defo plentiful and a good variety of it. What’s makes this place even more beautiful is the owner Betty. What a lovely, friendly and helpful lady. Really enjoyed our stay. The only disappointing thing was we had only booked to stay for one night!! Will defo return and highly recommend Bettys House to anyone staying by Lake...

"The host Milena is very kind, friendly and accommodating. Easy check-in and parking. It is also easy to access the city centre by bus as there are bus stops nearby. A lot of options for breakfast in the morning. The room is not the biggest in the world but it is very clean and has all the amenities needed. Would recommend."

"We stay for 5 nights at Le Albare and were very happy. It was quiet, clean and comfortable. We always served with nice service during breakfast. It was very pleasant and friendly. We recommend this place to anyone. It was a treasure!!"

"Pictures are not accurate. The check-in is in hotel around the corner. There is no river view. One window did not have a heavy curtain to keep out the light, so I tried to shut the shutters which did not work. The room had one lightbulb out that never got replaced. The walls are paper thin, so I could hear residents talking in their rooms. 10AM check-out is too early. Location is the best asset. "

"We arrived very late but this was pre arranged. The owners were welcoming and accommodating. Let us buy some water from the little shop they have. Room was clean. Shower leaked but otherwise was fine. Parking free right outside. My kids managed to spill drink all over the floor at breakfast and the lady was so kind, cleared it all with no issue. She was very friendly. Thankyou for a nice stay "

"We loved everything about our stay!! Antonella I think was her name the owner was very attentive even before our arrival answering our messages and requests! The hotel itself is beautiful looks brand new! Our room so spacious and finally a comfortable bed where we can rest!! Nice pillows too! The AREA AROUND IS AMAZING, Vineyards all around where you can walk and have wonderful views!! Quiet, it’s hard to find this kind of little gems now a days where many places are hectic. "Location location for Verona! Walk to just about everything and the hotel is down a little alley so there is little noise. Staff are extremely friendly and rooms clean. We didn’t take the breakfast option and there is lots to choose from close by. I’d stay here again in a second. "

"Perfect location, so close to the open theatre, restaurants and shops. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was ready for us even though we arrived in the morning. Our room was small but the bed was comfortable and it was handy having bedside tables that charge your phone wireless. The bathroom was a little tired but shower was powerful and we had a balcony with a view of the theatre. We loved the rooftop bar, even if the drinks were a little pricey. The complimentary appetisers were delicious though. Breakfast was delicious. We would definitely stay here again! The only suggestion I’d have is, it would be nice if the hotel celebrated special occasions with something complimentary in the room like a bottle of wine or chocolates. They knew it was for a special occasion but they only offered for us to pay for balloons, flowers or wine. It would have just made it extra special."

Perfect Location to visit Verona

"We chose the hotel because of it's location, 15 minute walk to the train station and bus connecting to the airport. Bus to airport is around 8 euros. Perfectly located to get to the center of the city, too, if you are OK with walking, we didn't take public transportation or taxes, and went all the way to the Castel San Pietro, on top of the hill with the viewpoint. Everything in the hotel was clean and modern, they have bikes that you can borrow for free to get to the center, if you prefer that"
