"planned on Snowshoeing, unfortunately it poured the entire stay. Not much open in Old Forge, sidewalks were flooded. So we stayed in most of the 2 days, you never know at this time of year what you'll get. Still had a good time hanging with our friends. Better luck next time. "

"We had the most amazing time during our winter visit with ourselves and our pomsky! We visited during a winter-storm and loved playing in the snow and utilizing the sleds provided by Carol & Dan.The storm blew in making our travel plans very unsafe and Carol & Dan were V E R Y kind, inviting us to stay an extra night to avoid the harsh travel conditions. We will forever be thankful for that kindness!This property certainly feels all-inclusive. Whether you want to stay at the cottage your whole stay or travel around the Adirondack area- there is so much to do! The hospitality of the hosts shows through with all their provisions. Forgot toothpaste? Under the cabinet. Pet furniture covers? In the closet! They've thought everything through which makes the stay feel easy and comfortable especially with their kindness being just 2 miles up the road. We can't wait to spend more time here as we will certainly return with our daughter & dog again!"
