Nice little independent mountain chalet, tastefully renovated, located 2 km from the Arêches Beaufort ski resort.
You will have a real chalet, typical of Beaufortain, just for you. A real favorite !!!
Discover a warm atmosphere with the brushed wooden frames, a lot of charm with its mountain decoration ....
Total change of scenery, ideal for mountain holidays! Small chalet 'd'Hidi' for family holidays or for a romantic weekend in a very intimate atmosphere.
You will appreciate the calm and the surrounding nature whatever the season chosen. The frame, resting helps rejuvenate.
The chalet includes a kitchen-dining room, a cozy living room, a bathroom, 2 bedrooms upstairs. A storage room with washing machine. There is also a terrace with garden furniture and a nice view of the surrounding mountains.
However, you will have to climb stairs: Indeed, the chalet is located on the slope and access to the house is by external stairs. There are also some inside for access to the rooms.
You will also have the pleasure of discovering our farm with 160 goats and their kids. It is with pleasure that we will show you our farm and our work.

With exceptional snow cover from 1,050 to 2,350 m above sea level, the village of Arèches turns into a ski resort in winter to the delight of skiers of all skill levels and ski-trekkers. The resort hosts the famous ski-mountaineering race, the Pierra Menta, every year. From the chalet, in winter as in summer, you can explore the hiking or snowshoeing trails. The chalet is located on the edge of a spruce forest. During a walk, you may well come face to face with a chamois, so do not forget the camera and be vigilant.
Beaufortain is a preserved territory which offers visitors all its riches every season.
From villages in hamlets, to tasting on the farm visiting the dairy cooperative, and botanical hiking trails on the ridges, the Beaufortain reveals its many facets under the benevolent eye of Mont Blanc. In summer, passing by the passes by car makes it possible to connect the Beaufortain to the neighboring valleys. You will then benefit from a magnificent panorama.
The village of Beaufort is located 750 m above sea level. Its name is also the one given to its famous cheese. You will discover a flowery village and welcoming.

Summer holiday in Beaufort
Lovely chalet in a really stunning location. Beaufort and Areches are beautiful villages with lots of summer activities going on. Lots of other places within easy reach. The chalet owners were really friendly, we enjoyed chatting with them. Chalet was well equipped and had everything we needed. Highly recommended place to stay.

Lovely chalet
We really loved the chalet! It is very cosy and full of character over 200 year old renovated cottage. We were really impressed with the hand made furniture (made by the owner). The house is very well equipped and very clean. The hosts are really lovely, friendly people - even though they were very busy with their work, they showed us around the farm. We could even take part in taking goats to the fields a few kilometers away, which was a great experience, not only for kids! We will recommend this place to all our family and friends and we hope to be back soon!

Klein, liebevoll und gemütlich
Ein sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes kleines Chalet, alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Klein, aber sehr gemütlich. Sehr nette Vermieter. Ca. 3 km von Beaufort entfernt, wo man sich mit allem Lebensotwendigem eindecken kann, besonders mit dem leckeren Beaufortkäse, den man unbedingt genießen sollte. Die Umgebung lädt zu eindrucksvollen Wanderungen ein oder ist auch mit dem Bike ( für ältere Semester E-Bike) zu erkunden. Leider konnten wir die phantastische Aussicht auf den Mont Blanc vom Col du Joly aus, nicht genießen, da es geregnet hatte. Dafür aber den Lac de Saint-Guérin . Es empfiehlt sich ein Ausflug nach Chamonix , um mit der Bergbahn auf 3800 Meter zu fahren, um den Mont Blanc aus nächster Nähe zu bewundern, teuer, aber es lohnt sich unbedingt.!!! Sehr schöne Stadt zum Verlieben in der Nähe ist Annecy mit dem gleichnamigen See (glasklares Wasser) In Beaufort ist , Gott sei Dank, der Massentourismus noch nicht angekommen und hat etwas von seinem Ursprung behalten, kein Vergleich zu dem auf dem Pass gelegenen Saisies oder gar Chamonix. Es hat uns eigentlich nur etwas mehr Sonne gefehlt.

Wir hatten eine sehr erholsame Ferienwoche in wunderschöner Umgebung. Das urige Bergchalet ist liebevoll eingerichtet und bietet auf kleinem Raum alles, was man benötigt. Wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt!

Très bon séjour !!!
La maison est très confortable, le cadre magnifique et les hôtes très sympathiques. Bref un séjour parfait. Nous avons pu faire plein de balades et découvrir une région grandiose. Nous avons aussi fait de belles rencontres avec des gens très chouettes. Sans oublier les fromages bien sûr !

Séjour dans un vrai chalet savoyard
Nous avons bien apprécié les environs du chalet même si nous n'avons pas pu aller vers les lacs et les barrages qui etaient fermés. Nous avons pu visiter la chevrerie des propriétaires et acheter leur excellent fromage. Le chalet ,très bien décoré,est pourvu de tout le matériel nécessaire. Merci pour cet excellent séjour.

Cocoon idéal pour se ressourcer en famille
Le couple d'hôte est charmant, réactif et disponible (tout en étant très discret - on est vraiment autonomes, même s'ils habitent à côté). Le chalet est au bout d'une route cul de sac, avec des champs et bois à proximité. L'intérieur est charmant, bien aménagé et toutes les bases sont présentes (four, micro-onde, grille-pain, cafetière.... Plusieurs promenades fléchées à partir de la maison ou à 2 minutes en voiture. La station est à 5, 10 min en voiture et le village d'Arèche est vraiment authentique (vieux bâtiments et ruelles), avec tout le confort moderne (restaurant, magasins...). Navette en bas de la rue. La seule remarque est que pour les grands (plus de 185 cm), le salon et la chambre parentale sont bas de plafond et les chambres sont en enfilade (peut-être moins adapté pour 2 couples). Nous y retournerons sûrement et vous le conseillons.

Wir haben unseren dreiwöchigen Aufenthalt in dem rustikalen, gemütlichen Ferienhaus sehr genossen und in der wunderschönen Umgebung viele Wanderungen unternommen mit wunderschönen Ausblicken in die herrliche Lanschaft und die Berge des Beaufortain. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und immer bereit, uns Auskünfte und Tips für schöne Ausflüge zu geben. Die Lage des kleinen Hauses ist ruhig und von der Terasse aus hat man einen herrlichen Ausblick in die Landschaft. Die Einrichtung des Hauses sowie die Haushaltsgeräte und Geschirr war top. Es war alles da, was man benötigt.Gerne wählen wir dieses Urlaubsziel wieder. Wir grüßen herzlich die Familie Bérengère

Chalet typique et cosy au cœur du beaufortain. Propriétaires charmants et qui ont pris le temps de nous faire visiter leur chèvrerie . A 2 pas d’arêches ,de beaufort et de la station familiale du planay. Dépaysement garanti !!!
