"Had a wonderful 10 day stay at Chantauvent. Behind the hotel is Blue Bay beach, one of the best beaches in Mauritius. Great opportunity to snorkel and see marine life. Some decent restaurants nearby and airport is only 10 mins away. Staff were helpful and friendly and the room was in good condition"

"The rooms were as stated however the main double bedroom is actually next to the sitting /dining/kitchen area of another apartment and the people partied til 1am. There needs to be either some sound proofing or movement of the rooms so that one group is not disturbed by another."

"1st night no hot water. Geyser didn’t work. Aircons don’t work. Cockroaches in room. No soaps, shampoo, etc. They don’t accept cards and only told me this when I wanted to settle my bill the night prior to check out. The owner insisted on me walking almost 2km to go withdraw cash at 9pm. Which was a major inconvenience. I will never stay there again. NEVER!!!"

"Ett ställe som vi gärna återkommer till.Trevligt värdpar som ger en familjär känsla.Gjorde allt för vi skulle trivas.Fixade trerätters middag fast det bara va vi som skulle äta.Fina små personliga rum med stort allrum i mitten.Liten fin pool som hade bubblor att massera sej med.Säker inhängnad tomt.Absolut toppklass för pengarna."

"We have family who live in Mauritius and wanted somewhere that was not a big hotel where we could gather. This villa was perfect! More then enough space for people to gather. Patio was amazing and each bedroom had plenty of space. On top of that the housekeeper was excellent and was able to help with any request we might have had. "Jennifer looked after us during our stay at Villa Banyan and was helpful & friendly and easy to reach. The villas are well maintained and located in a beautiful setting beside a pool and beach area. The view was spectacular every day despite the cyclone weather. We will definitely be returning to stay in the future - Merci pour tous! "

"We only stayed for one night in transit on our way home to the U.S. as it was close to the airport, but we were very impressed with this property. The hotel was modern and the rooms were very spacious and clean. I enjoyed the small but well equipped gym and the lunch buffet was excellent; it was one of the best and most affordable meals that we had during our vacation. The staff was also friendly and accommodating. We would highly recommend this hotel. "
