Perfect Setting and Location
This is really a great location for visiting several of the near by areas in this part of the state. Like Raveena Trains, Irvine Mountain Mushroom Festival, RRG, Daniel Boone National Forest and Natyral Bridge. Being close access to the river was a plus and having lots of yard and space for Kids to run in a safe place made for a relaxing time.

Fantastic for families!
Close to the Gorge area but far enough away to be quiet and private. Lots of outdoor games and activities that our family could enjoy together. Bill responded immediately with answers to questions. We just loved it!!

Perfect quiet weekend!
The area is private and quiet, absolutely gorgeous, and has several fun things to do on site. The property was well maintained and clean. Plenty of space to enjoy a backyard fire, the sunrise or sunset, and just enjoy a leisurely walk along the creek. Our dog "Lulu" was in heaven being able to run the backyard and play with Mom and Dad, and sniff everything she could see, while enjoying her quiet time outside as well. We loved our cabin and will definitely be back! Thank you again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very clean! The property was beautiful L with lots of yard games and kayaking. Only complaint the hot tub was dirty and slimy. Texted owner who immediately responded apologizing but was never corrected. So we did not get to enjoy the hot tub. We had such a good time making everlasting memories. Nature bridge is a MUST! We would definitely stay again! 4/5 stars!!!

Had a great time staying in the cabin. Just perfect size for the 4 of us. Only issue we had was finding it. We passed by it twice before figuring it out. There are no numbers that we could see or the name of the property listed in the check in instructions. Otherwise, the start was wonderful! 100% recommend

Perfect for our get a way
The cabin was perfect and exactly what we needed. It was spotless, and very cozy - while having the basic supplies you’d need like cleaning supplies, Lysol spray ( I was shocked and excited over this, other cabins we’ve stayed at had hardly anything ) cooking utensils and others too. We couldn’t have been more pleased. The back yard leads directly into the lake, which we took full advantage of. We took out the kayaks and caught a few fish just right behind it. However I do recommend only taking a small group if you choose this cabin so you don’t feel crowded. I honestly couldn’t recommend this cabin more

The cabin was very nice, had almost everything we needed already onsite for the week. The area is beautiful, low traffic, and a short (beautiful) drive to red river gorge. Couldn’t be happier with the cabin, or the area. We have already discussed booking again next year.

July 4th weekend
Stayed here with my wife and our two dogs for the July 4th weekend booked 3 nights. Cabin was fantastic, cozy but had all the amenities we needed. We grill out for all the days the propane gas grill was good. The air conditioning was good which was very much needed for these 3 days that were very hot and humid. The hot tub was nice and worked great for the evenings when the weather cooled. There were frisbee golf, badminton and kayak. The fireplace was nice and we were provided wood. Only wish was the other cabins were not occupied so we could let our dogs off leash.TV was smart TV and to our surprise already logged in so I didn't have to log into mine, I would recommend putting this in the description as it was definitely a nice surprise amenity.We came here to hike and had a lot of fun doing so, definitely recommend. Had issues with the direction, GPS took us 2 miles away from the road for some reason but easy to find as the cabin and badminton court is visibly on the drive by the road. Bill was very helpful and answer inquires on text very quickly, all in all definitely would recommend to anyone seeking a cabin experience with a good bit of peace and seclusion.

Quiet and peaceful
Stayed here for our 22nd anniversary (10/14/22). Was a very quiet street, clean cabin, not bothered by anyone. River is nice to access right on property and close to Red River Gorge. Only thing I would change would be the amount of stink bugs and lady bugs inside the cabin (but it is nature so understandable). Overall would love to stay again!

Immaculate and quaint
I was raised to always leave a place better than when I arrived, but this rental property was already the cleanest I had been to. My family of six filled this tiny cottage, but the spacious grounds allowed for many recreational opportunities. Weather was accommodating and allowed for the short trip to national forest trails.

Bill is a wonderful host, and this cabin was a terrific retreat for my wife and I , along with our Black Labrador, Carl. Very beautiful setting on the banks of the South Fork of the Kentucky River.

Beautiful cabin with great amenities. Everything you need for a nice stay away from home. Interior of the cabin was very clean and well taken care of. Front porch could use a little attention due to many bird droppings. I realize that this is a hard thing to keep up with though.

We enjoyed our stay despite record high temps (mid to upper 90's) because the air conditioner worked so well. Couldn't comfortably sit on the porch till dark. Although not advertised but included in photos, there are at least 4 kayaks available and one paddle board. Used a kayak just to get across the VERY slow moving river to check out vegetation on the other side; very interesting game trails and cliff.
